The disclosure relates to a system, a method, and an apparatus to selectively control brightness of information displayed on a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD). A graphics layer can be provided in a display area of the LCD, and a semi-transparent mask layer can be provided above the graphics layer. An information graphics layer can be provided above the semi-transparent mask layer. The information graphics layer can be controlled to selectively display predetermined information on the LCD at an intended brightness, while remaining information from the underlying graphics layer can be dimmed relative to the brightness of the display predetermined information by activation of the semi-transparent mask layer.

A control system, and related method are disclosed for controlling brightness in areas of a LCD. The control system may comprise a LCD including a first display area and a second display area, and a controller in communication with the LCD. The controller may be configured to display an icon at an icon brightness level in the first display area, display a first image in the second display area, and display a mask image over the first image. The first image is visible through the mask image at a first composite brightness level. The first composite brightness level is less than the icon brightness level.

A mounting structure for a remote operator station is provided. The mounting structure includes a frame having a first section, and a second section disposed adjacently in elevated relation with respect to the first section. The frame further includes a forward support member extending upward from an end of the first section and a rearward support member extending downward from an end of the second section. The structure further includes an upright support element removably coupled to the forward support member of the frame via a first coupling system. The structure further includes a laterally extending support element removably coupled to at least one of lateral sides of the second section of the frame via a second coupling system.

A system, and related method and computer program product are disclosed. The system may comprise a lighting system including a plurality of light groups disposed on a Machine, each light group including one or more lights, a graphical user interface, and a controller. The controller may be configured to cause the graphical user interface to display a machine icon and a plurality of light icons. Each light icon may be in the shape of a light and corresponding to one of the light groups. Each light icon may be displayed proximal to the machine icon in a position generally indicative of a location on the Machine of the light group that corresponds to the light icon. In an embodiment, a light beam may be displayed generally adjacent to the first light icon to show a direction of light when the corresponding light group on the Machine is illuminated.

System and method for controlling features

Attitude display system for remotely operated machine is provided. The attitude display system includes a pitch display and a roll display. The pitch display includes a fixed pitch reference scale and a pitch indicator. The pitch indicator can be configured to move relative to the fixed pitch reference scale to indicate a pitch of the remotely operated machine. The roll display includes a roll reference element and a roll indicator configured to pivot about a reference point to indicate a roll of the remotely operated machine. Further, the pitch display and the roll display include a pitch text field and a roll text filed to display a numeric value of the pitch and roll respectively. Also, the pitch indicator and the roll indicator can be configured to change to a first color and a second color based on a degree of movement or pivot.

An operator's cab for a work machine includes a ceiling structure and a floor structure. An operator's station is disposed between the ceiling structure and the floor structure, and is configured to position an operator in a driving position. First and second vertical support bars extend from the ceiling structure to the floor structure. The first and second vertical support bars are disposed forwardly of the operator's station and are spaced a substantially equal distance from a longitudinal axis of the work machine. Third and fourth vertical support bars also extend from the ceiling structure to the floor structure. The third and fourth vertical support bars are spaced a substantially equal distance from the longitudinal axis. The distance from the first and second vertical support bars to the longitudinal axis is less than the distance from the third and fourth vertical support bars to the longitudinal axis.
