In one example aspect, a computerized method of automatically detecting and blocking at least one attack on an application includes the step of modifying instructions of the application to include at least one sensor. The at least one sensor generates a set of events related to detecting an attack on the application or a computing system implementing the application. The method includes the step of reviewing, from within the application, the set of events generated by the at least one sensor. The method includes the step of detecting a presence of at least one attack on the application based on the review of the set of events. The method includes the step of invoking an attack response action.

Method and system of attack detection and protection in computer systems

In one aspect, computerized method for hardening security of an application includes the step of modifying a set of instructions of an application to include at least one sensor adapted to capture a set of information snapshots from within the application in a running state. The method includes the step of analyzing, from within the application, the set of information snapshots from the at least one sensor. The method includes the step of detecting a presence, a status, and a configuration of a security defense mechanism based on an analysis of the information snapshots; invoking an appropriate hardening action to improve the security defense mechanism of the application.

Method and system of hardening applications against security attacks

A personal propulsion device for use with a floatation device includes a pair of propulsion units. Each propulsion unit comprises a power module, a motor, and a propeller. The motor is operationally coupled to the power module and the propeller so that the motor is positioned to selectively rotate the propeller to impart a force on water. Each propulsion unit is configured to be grasped in a respective hand of a user who is positioned on a floatation device. The user is positioned to submerge the propulsion unit in a body of water so that the floatation device is motivated across a surface of the body of water.

Detection of vulnerabilities in computer systems

A mounting system is provided for flexible message panel assemblies. An end cap is secured to the panel assembly with an elastic flexible tether which allows the end cap to be fitted over an end of a rib supporting the panel. Stored force in the elastic tether holds the corner of the message panel in position.

A base is provided for use with warning signs and the like. A metal structural framework is fitted to the underside of an elastomeric body in the form of a monolithic slab. Forces from the sign panel are transmitted through the structural framework, which includes a plurality of outwardly radiating legs. Force loadings are transmitted through the structural framework rather than the elastomeric body, which provide a ballast for the structural framework.

The flank end and the shoulder end of the at least one pork belly is docked. The docked pork belly is placed on a slicing machine and sliced to produce sliced bacon.

A quick release mechanism for a sign stand base having support legs pivotally joined to a support flange. The support legs are notched to receive the support flange. A locking pin extends through the support leg and is positioned so s to selectively interfere with an outer periphery of the support flange. The locking pin is mounted for rocking or swiveling motion within the support leg and can be moved out of contact with the support flange, thereby allowing the support leg to pivot with respect to the support flange. A flat spring strip secured to an outer surface of the support leg biases the locking pin to a position engaging the support flange.
