A tool catcher system that includes a housing. The housing defines a bore that receives a tool. The tool catcher system includes a plurality of ring segments that move radially inward and radially outward to selectively couple to and uncouple from the tool. A spring plate supports the plurality of ring segments. An actuator plate couples to the spring plate. A plurality of shafts couple the actuator plate to the spring plate. An actuator system moves the actuator plate and the spring plate in a first direction to release the tool.

An inflatable packer system for an annular blowout preventer (BOP) includes an inflatable bladder configured to be positioned within a housing of the annular BOP and to inflate upon receipt of a fluid within the inflatable bladder. The inflatable bladder may be an annular structure that is configured to circumferentially surround a bore of the annular BOP.

The present disclosure relates to a system that includes a shearing ram configured to mount in a blowout preventer. The shearing ram includes a body portion that may move along an axis of movement. The shearing ram also includes a sealing member disposed in a first surface of the body portion. The sealing member is biased away from the first surface in a crosswise direction relative to the axis of movement, such that the sealing member may engage a second surface of a second shearing ram when the first shearing ram and the second shearing ram overlap with one another with respect to the axis of movement.

An assembly for a valve includes an inner cylinder, an outer cylinder circumferentially surrounding the inner cylinder, and a first bar comprising a first end portion coupled to the inner cylinder and a second end portion coupled to the inner cylinder. The second end portion extends radially outwardly through a groove extending circumferentially about a curved wall of the outer cylinder to enable the inner cylinder and the first bar to rotate relative to the outer cylinder.

The present disclosure relates to a system that includes a shearing ram configured to mount in a blowout preventer, wherein the shearing ram includes a body portion with a tapered surface, where the body portion includes a first hardness, and a ledge extending from an end of the tapered surface to form an edge, where the ledge includes a second hardness, greater than the first hardness.

A blowout preventer may be used for shearing an object positioned in a vertical bore extending through the blowout preventer. The blowout preventer includes a shear ram movable towards the tubular, the shear ram including a biasing mechanism for biasing against an interior surface of the blowout preventer body. In this way, the biasing mechanism urges the shear ram into axial engagement with an opposing shear ram movable towards the tubular during shearing operations. The biasing mechanism comprises a biasing member, such as a coiled spring, coned-disc spring, and/or coned-disc washer which urges the biasing mechanism into contact with the inner portion of the blowout preventer body.

A blowout preventer ('BOP') includes a housing comprising a vertical bore extending through the housing and ram cavities intersecting the bore and a pair of opposing ram assemblies, with each ram assembly movably positionable within a ram cavity and comprising a side packer assembly. The side packer assembly comprises an upper plate, a lower plate, an elastomeric body positioned between the upper plate and the lower plate and comprising elastomeric material, and a support member positioned between the upper plate and the lower plate and configured to confine movement of the elastomeric body when sealing.

Method and subsea sensors display system configured to display data about a blowout preventer (BOP) stack. The subsea sensors display system includes a display panel having plural universal subsea displays, each universal subsea display being configured to display a value measured by a sensor attached to the BOP stack; and a J-box electrically connected to the display panel and configured to provide electrical power to the display panel and to receive data from the display panel. The electrical power is provided from a pod provided on the BOP stack or from a battery when the pod is not available or from a remote operated vehicle (ROV) when connected to the display panel.

A screwless technique for mounting a circuit board in a computer chassis is provided in which circular portions of keyhole-shaped mounting openings in the circuit board body are first moved downwardly over notched chassis mounting bosses. The circuit board is then forwardly moved transversely to the bosses to move opening edge portions of the circuit board body into the boss notches in a manner releasably preventing the circuit board from being lifted off the bosses. A retaining bracket is placed adjacent a body edge of the installed circuit board to block the board against rearward releasing movement relative to the chassis bosses.

A technique is provided for the insertion and removal of a motherboard and a heatsink from a computer chassis without the use of tools or threaded fasteners. The technique allows the heatsink to be supported by the chassis and not the motherboard thereby preventing damage to the motherboard.
