Polyether modified fluoroalkylsiloxanes having the general structure of Formula (I), Formula (II) or Formula (III): ##STR1## wherein x is about 0 to 500, y is about 1 to 50, z is about 1 to 50, R=C.sub.p H.sub.2p --(OC.sub.2 H.sub.4).sub.n --(OC.sub.3 H.sub.6).sub.n).sub.m --OR' in which p is about 2 to 5, n is about 0 to 50, N is about 0 to 50, and one of n or m must be &gt;0, and R'=H, an alkyl group with 1-4 carbons, or an acetyl group and R.sub.f =C.sub.a H.sub.2a --O.sub.b --C.sub.c H.sub.2c --C.sub.d F.sub.2d+1 in which a is 3 or 4, b is 0 or 1, c is 0 or 2-4 and d is 4-12 with the provisos that if b=0, then c=0, and that if b=1, then c=2-4; z.sub.1 is about 0 to 50 and y.sub.1 is about 0 to 50, are useful to reduce the coefficient of friction and to increase mar resistance of coatings, to increase spreadability and wettability of coating formulations, and as foam control agents.

Polyether modified fluoroalkylsiloxanes

Oligomeric fluoroalkylsiloxanes corresponding to the formula: ##STR1## wherein x is 0 to 3, y is 0, 1, or 2; z is 0 or 1; x+y&gt;0, and R has the formula --C.sub.a H.sub.2a --O.sub.b --C.sub.d H.sub.2c --C.sub.d F.sub.2d+1 in which a is 2-4, b is 0 or 1, c is 0-8 and d is 4-12, and compositions thereof with an oil, are useful as spreading agents and in agricultural applications.
