Aspects of the present disclosure relate to wellbore plugs, and specifically to pump down wiper plug assemblies used for conducting casing integrity pressure tests and completing wellbores. A plug assembly comprises one or more of a mandrel, a wiper, a dissolvable member, a rupture disk, and a movable sleeve. The dissolvable member and the rupture disk are configured to temporarily close fluid flow through an inner bore of the mandrel. The entire or only a portion of the outer surface of the dissolvable member comprises a protective coating.

Wiper plug with dissolvable core

Aspects of the present disclosure relate to wellbore plugs, and specifically to pump down wiper plug assemblies used for conducting casing integrity pressure tests and completing wellbores. A plug assembly comprises one or more of a mandrel, a wiper, a plug member, a ring member, and dissolvable member. The dissolvable member, and the plug member and the ring member are configured to temporarily close fluid flow through an inner bore of the mandrel. The entire or only a portion of the outer surface of the dissolvable member comprises a protective coating.

Pump down wiper plug assembly

Casing shoe assemblies that are configured to direct the drilling of multiple wellbores below a single primary wellbore. The casing shoe assembly has an outer housing and an inner body at least partially disposed within the outer housing that is formed out of a drillable material. The inner body has a bore formed through the inner body. A check valve assembly is disposed within the bore of the inner body. A guide plate is disposed within the outer housing above the inner body and has a plurality of wellbore openings and a separate opening formed through the guide plate to provide fluid flow into the bore formed through the inner body. A wellbore guide is located below each wellbore opening of the guide plate and within a hole formed in the inner body. Each wellbore guide and each hole does not extend through the entire inner body.

Casing shoe assembly

Embodiments presented provide for an apparatus that provides a dislodgable plug seat that is used to capture a cement wiper plug for wellbore cementing operations. The apparatus further includes a collar having a ball seat and a closing sleeve configured to be shifted from an open position to a closed position. In the open position, a fluid pathway between an interior volume and a wellbore annulus is unblocked, and in the closed position the fluid pathway is blocked. A split ring is shiftable with the closing sleeve between a retained configuration when the closing sleeve is in the open position and an expanded configuration when the closing sleeve is in the closed position. The split ring holds the dislodgable plug seat in place within the body in the retained configuration and releases the dislodgable plug seat in the expanded configuration.

Pump out stage cementing system

Aspects of the present disclosure relate to a casing string comprising a buoyant mandrel and one or more dissolvable plugs, and methods of conducting wellbore operations using the casing string. The casing string may have an upper mandrel comprising a rupture disk. A slotted mandrel may be coupled to a lower end of the upper mandrel and comprise a plug disposed in a port of the slotted mandrel. A casing shoe may be coupled to a lower end of the slotted mandrel and comprise a check valve assembly. A gas filled chamber may be formed between the rupture disk and the check valve assembly. The plug may be configured to dissolve after a predetermined amount of time when in contact with a wellbore fluid.

Casing string for use in extended reach wellbores

Aspects of the disclosure relate to stage collars and related methods of operation thereof for stage cementing operations. In one implementation, a stage collar for stage cementing operations includes a barrel, and an activation sleeve disposed at least partially in the barrel. The activation sleeve includes first fluid openings. The stage collar includes an activation ring that includes an activation seat. The stage collar includes a first set of shear fasteners coupling the activation ring to the activation sleeve, and a second set of shear fasteners coupling the activation sleeve to the barrel. The stage collar includes a setting piston, and a closing sleeve disposed at least partially in the barrel. The closing sleeve includes second fluid openings. The stage collar includes a third set of shear fasteners coupling the closing sleeve to the barrel.

Stage collar and related methods for stage cementing operations

A stage cementing system includes a stage cementing assembly having a stage tool. The stage tool has an outer mandrel, an inner mandrel coupled to and disposed inside of the outer mandrel, an annular chamber between the outer mandrel and the inner mandrel, a first outer port through the outer mandrel, and longitudinally spaced first and second inner ports through the inner mandrel. The stage cementing system further includes an inner string assembly configured to be located inside the inner mandrel. The inner string assembly has a tubular body having a central throughbore and longitudinally spaced first and second side ports, a lower external seal element below the first and second side ports, a middle external seal element between the first and second side ports, and an upper external seal element above the first and second side ports.

Stage cementing system

A stop collar assembly includes a collar having inner and outer surfaces. The inner surface includes a taper. The outer surface includes a slope such that an outer diameter at a start of the slope is greater than an outer diameter at an end of the slope. The stop collar assembly further includes a slip having a bottom end and a taper adjoining the bottom end. The slip taper is configured to contact the collar taper. When the collar taper is in contact with the slip taper, a distance from a central radial axis of the collar to the start of the slope is less than a distance from the central radial axis to the slip bottom end, and the distance from the central radial axis to the slip bottom end is less than a distance from the central radial axis to the end of the slope.

Stop collar assembly

A sealing device includes a tubular body having a bore; a collet seat having a plurality of collets; a frangible sealing element disposed in the collet seat and blocking fluid communication through the bore; and a releasable sleeve releasably attached to the tubular body and retaining the collet seat against the tubular body. In one embodiment, the plurality of the collets includes threads mated with threads on the tubular body. In another embodiment, the plurality of the collets is attached to the sleeve.

Buoyant system for installing a casing string

A tubular connection assembly that maybe quickly connected and with improved capacity for axial loads is disclosed. The tubular connection assembly may include a box end member having a first groove formed in an inner surface, a pin end member having a second groove formed in an outer surface, and a load transfer assembly comprising two or more segments. When the pin end member is inserted in the box end member and the first groove aligns with the second groove, the load transfer assembly is at least partially disposed in both the first groove and the second groove.

Quick connect connection

A centralizer having bow springs in a retracted position to facilitate passage through a restriction. After passing through the restriction, the bow springs may be expanded to support a casing. In one embodiment, the bow springs may be expanded using a movable sleeve.

A valve includes a housing having a bore. The valve further includes a piston member movable between a first position permitting fluid passage through the bore and a second position obstructing the bore through the housing. Additionally, the valve includes a biasing member configured to bias the piston member toward the second position. A method of using a valve in a cementing operation is provided.
