An electronically controlled motor driven siren. The siren is electronically controlled to generate different sound profiles, while having advantages of a motor driven mechanical siren. In some embodiments, the siren is part of a system of multiple sirens. The phases of the rotors of the sirens of the system can be electronically controlled to generate different multi-siren combined sound profiles.

Lighting unit that can be mounted to a vehicle for illuminating work or emergency areas at night. The lighting unit includes a mechanically controllable driver for selecting a position of a central optical axis of the light emitter and an electronically adjustable refractive element for modulating a beam spread configuration generated by the lighting unit.

A warning device. In some embodiments, the warning device can include: a plurality of light sources forming an array; a plurality of reflectors, with at least one reflector being associated with each of the plurality of lights; and a plurality of lenses, with at least one lens being associated with each of the plurality of lights. In some examples, each of the plurality of reflectors and the plurality of lenses is tilted along a principal axis to collimate light and to direct the light from one of the plurality of lights to one of a plurality of far field light spots.

Warning devices with oscillating light patterns

Light bars, and lighting systems and vehicles that include light bars. The light bars include a plurality of light emitting modules coupled together at flexible joints to allow a single light bar to be affixed to surfaces of varying curvatures, such as an interior window surface of a vehicle. The size of the light bar is easily customizable due to its modular nature. In some examples, a controller or other electronic element is adapted to detect a number and/or configuration of modules in a given light bar.
