A refrigerator that has a refrigerating compartment and a freezer compartment. A refrigerating compartment door covers at least a portion of the refrigerating compartment. An ice compartment located in the refrigerating compartment is located on the refrigerating compartment door. An ice maker is located in the ice compartment and a dispenser is located on the refrigerating compartment door.

A refrigerator which has a refrigerating section maintained above 0 degrees C., and a freezer section located below the refrigerating section maintained below 0 degrees C. A refrigerating section door covers at least a portion of the refrigerating section. An ice compartment is located on the refrigerating section door. An ice is located in the ice compartment with an ice storage bin located in the ice compartment below the ice maker. A dispenser located on the refrigerating section door can dispense ice from the ice storage bin.

An ice making and dispensing system suitable for making and dispensing ice through the refrigerator compartment door of a bottom freezer refrigerator. The ice maker and ice cube storage bin are located in an insulated sub-compartment in the refrigerator compartment. The insulated sub-compartment is maintained below 0&#xb0; C. for forming and storing ice cubes. The insulated sub-compartment can be positioned adjacent the freezer compartment and can be cooled by below 0&#xb0; C. air from the freezer compartment or from an auxiliary evaporator.

A low noise hood is provided having a housing with an air inlet and an air outlet. A first modular device in the form of an intake muffler with a first air duct passage extending therethrough is mounted within the housing near the air inlet. A second modular device in the form of a discharge muffler with a second air duct passage extending therethrough is mounted within the housing near the air outlet. The second air duct passage is shaped to prevent a straight unobstructed passage for air flow through the second passage. A third device comprising an air moving device is secured by a mounting arrangement within the housing. A first vibration isolator such as a plastic saddle is provided in the mounting arrangement for the air moving device for absorbing vibrations and a second vibration isolator in the form of a flexible connector is positioned between the air moving device and the second air duct passage. A third vibration isolator in a mounting arrangement for the discharge muffler may also be used.

Low noise cooker hood

An ir conditioner is provided which includes a full-front evaporator and a U-shaped condenser. Separate air streams for the evaporator and condenser are provided by two axial flow fans driven by one motor. Evaporator air flow is drawn in axially and discharged radially through louvers in the top and both sides of the cabinet. Condenser air flow is drawn in through the sides of the U-shaped condenser and discharged through the rear of the U-shaped condenser.
