In one aspect, inks for use with a three-dimensional (3D) printing system are described herein. In some embodiments, an ink described herein comprises 10-70 wt. % cyclopolymerizable monomer, based on the total weight of the ink. The cyclopolymerizable monomer comprises a first ethenyl or ethynyl moiety and a second ethenyl or ethynyl moiety. Additionally, the &#x3b1;-carbon of the first ethenyl or ethynyl moiety and the &#x3b1;-carbon of the second ethenyl or ethynyl moiety have a 1,5-, 1,6-, 1,7-, or 1,8-relationship.

Cyclopolymerizable compounds for 3D printing

In one aspect, inks for use with a 3D printer are described herein. In some embodiments, an ink described herein comprises a cyclic carbonate monomer and an amine monomer. Further, in some instances, an ink described herein also comprises an ethylenically unsaturated monomer such as a (meth)acrylate. Additionally, an ink described herein, in some cases, further comprises a colorant, such as a molecular dye, a particulate inorganic pigment, or a particulate organic colorant. An ink described herein may also comprise one or more additives selected from the group consisting of inhibitors, stabilizing agents, photoinitiators, and photosensitizers.

Non-isocyanate polyurethane inks for 3D printing

The present disclosure provides an encapsulated pigment dispersion and an inkjet ink comprising an ink vehicle and an encapsulated pigment dispersion thereof. In particular, the encapsulated pigment dispersion includes a pigment selected from TiOpigment, fluorescent pigment, phosphorescent pigment, and mixtures thereof. The present disclosure also provides a process for producing the aqueous pigment.

Encapsulated titanium dioxide, fluorescent pigments, and pigmented polyurethane dispersion

The present disclosure provides an encapsulated dye dispersion and an inkjet ink comprising an ink vehicle and an encapsulated dye dispersion thereof. In particular, the encapsulated dye dispersion includes a fluorescent and/or photochromic dye. The present disclosure also provides a process for producing the encapsulated dye dispersion.

The present disclosure provides an encapsulated visible light absorbing dye dispersion, and the process for producing the same. The present disclosure further provides an inkjet ink comprising an ink vehicle and an encapsulated visible light absorbing dye dispersion thereof, and the process for producing the same.

Phase change inks

Disclosed is a phase change ink comprising a phase change ink carrier and a colorant compound of the formula wherein X, X, and Xeach, independently of the others, is &#x2014;O&#x2014;, &#x2014;S&#x2014;, &#x2014;SO&#x2014;, or &#x2014;SO&#x2014;; R, R, and Reach, independently of the others, is alkyl, aryl, arylalkyl, or alkylaryl as further defined herein; and Z is halogen, &#x2014;OR, wherein Ris alkyl, aryl, arylalkyl, or alkylaryl as further defined herein, wherein Ris alkyl, aryl, arylalkyl, or alkylaryl as further defined herein, or wherein Ris alkyl, aryl, arylalkyl, or alkylaryl as further defined herein.

Disclosed are compounds of the formulae wherein R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, and Rare hydrogen, alkyl, aryl, arylalkyl, or alkylaryl, R, R, and Rare alkylene, arylene, arylalkylene, or alkylarylene, and the chromogen moiety is an atom or group of atoms that impart color to the compound in the visible, infrared, or ultraviolet wavelength range.

Colored polysiloxanes

Disclosed are colorants comprising a colored laked complex of (a) a chromogen molecule having at least one (i) carboxylic acid group, (ii) carboxylate group, (iii) sulfonic acid group, (iv) sulfonate group, or (v) combination thereof, and (b) a polymer, said chromogen molecule and said polymer each being complexed to (c) a metal. Also disclosed are phase change inks containing the colorants.
