There is disclosed an anti-sag hinge () which includes a mounting flange assembly () pivotally coupled to a strap assembly (). The strap assembly includes a strap () extending from a cylinder portion (). The strap includes an interior recess () and a flexible, rubber bumper or cover () is configured to fit snugly into the top end of the strap recess. The recess is defined by the peripheral sidewalls () of the strap which extend to the most outboard portion of the hinge.

Hinge

There is disclosed anti-sag hinge () which includes a mounting flange assembly () pivotally coupled to a strap assembly (). The strap assembly includes a strap () extending from a cylinder portion (). The cylindrical portion includes a coupling end () with a vertically extending octagonal channel () therethrough. The octagonal channel includes a vertically extending alignment ridge or tongue () and a centrally positioned, horizontally oriented, annular ridge (). The hinge also includes an elongated cam follower () having a lower cam follower portion () with an octagonal exterior surface () terminating at a circumferential ledge or shoulder () positioned to abut and bear against the centrally positioned annular ridge of the coupling end. The lower cam follower portion also has a longitudinally extending groove () configured to receive the coupling end alignment tongue.
