A shower shaver is made from two plastic piece parts. A first part is a handle in the nature of a pipe terminating in a cavity. The other piece part delivers water which strikes a razor blade and then exits under the cutting edge of the blade with enough force to wash debris away from the blade. A valve on the shaver handle provides a continuously variable control over the flow of water to the shaver. A tubing or hose attached to the shower shaver leads to a nipple which may be interposed between an outlet and a pipe. A quick disconnect connector enables the tubing to be connected to or disconnected from the nipple. A bracket or hanger is attached to a wall in any suitable out of the way location in order to receive and support the shaver when the shaver and the quick disconnect connector on the tubing is not in use.

A wand massager has an elongated handle with two parts pivotally joined together. The pivot is offset at an angle relative to the elognation so that the handle may be given a plurality of angular configuration ranging from straight to an angle of about 150.degree.. The handle terminates at one end in a disk having a thickness which provides an end face plate and a peripheral surface which is substantially perpendicular to the face plate at the end of the disk. The flat surface of the end plate and the peripheral surface having a plurality of different areas for giving a plurality of different massaging effects.

A shower shaver is made from two plastic piece parts. A first part is a handle in the nature of a pipe terminating in a fan-shaped or flared, tray like top surface. The other piece part is a cover or top which fits over and cooperates with the tray top to form a cavity which delivers a flared sheet of water toward orifices which cause the water to strike to a broad surfaces of said blade and then exits under the cutting edge of the blade with enough force to wash debris away from the blade. A notch beneath the flaired surface delivers a stream of water to the skin in advance of the cutting edge. A tubing or hose attached to the shower shaver razor leads to a nipple which may be interposed between a shower head and a plumbing pipe. A valve on the nipple provides a continuously variable control over the flow of water to the shaver and/or the shower head. A bracket or hanger is attached to the nipple to receive and support the razor when it is not in use.

A hand held shower head especially--but not exclusively--for personal use has a porous sponge removably clamped over the holes from which a water spray normally issues. The sponge converts the spray into a flowing cascade of water. The sponge is changeable so that each user may have a clean surface, as he sees fit or so that different spray characteristics may be achieved. An arrangement is provided for hanging up the sponge if a user wishes to use the shower with the spray instead of with the cascading flow of water.

Personalized hand held shower head

The invention provides a combination of a shower shaver and a steam free mirror. A nipple fits between a plumbing pipe and a shower head. A T-shaped fitting is coupled to the nipple to receive a certain amount of shower water which is bled off during a shower. The other ends of the T-shaped fitting are coupled to said shower shaver and to a steam free mirror, respectively, whereby water from the shower is used both to lubricate and rinse said shaver and to control the temperature of said mirror.

A toothbrush sanitizer has a housing containing a centrally located elongated ultraviolet bulb surrounded by cavities for receiving standing toothbrushes. The cavities having one side open to receive ultraviolet light, have highly reflective surfaces to reflect light passing through said open side toward all sides of the toothbrushes, and have bottom contours which make the toothbrushes self-aligning. An electronic circuit lights the ultraviolet bulb with a short on, long off duty cycle. The initial on cycle is longer than the rest of the on cycles and occurs immediately after the cover is closed. A labyrinth seal permits passage of a cooling updraft of air while blocking an escape of ultraviolet light.

A back massager is powered through a control unit attached to a back cushion via a cable. The control unit has a jack coupled to a control circuit and through the cable to the cushion. Either an AC adapter or a 12 DC battery adapter may be plugged into the jack. Therefore, the same massager may be used in the home or an automobile (or the equivalent thereof). An air bladder may be pumped up or exhausted to control the firmness of the cushion.

A shower filter is adapted to be installed between a plumbing pipe and a shower head. The filter includes a changeable filter cartridge. A three position valve in the appliance is able to (a) block all flow of water, (b) deliver filtered water, or (c) deliver unfiltered water. An adapter may be used to enable the appliance to receive different types of filter cartridges.
