Disclosed are embodiments generally directed to a heat exchange system comprising a heat exchange module (HEM) that is strategically positioned within the vehicle and supports a combined lubrication system providing lubrication functionality for the vehicle. The HEM is positioned between an inverter and a gear box within the example electric vehicle. The HEM includes a plurality of ports and corresponding passages for coolant flow and oil flow.

Heat exchange module

An apparatus for facilitating the installation of pump components into a housing is provided. The apparatus includes a frame configured to be placed on the housing during assembly, and a clamp slidingly coupled to the frame. The frame includes a body, a first raised portion and a second raised portion. The first raised portion extends from the body, and is configured to support a portion of a drive gear. The second raised portion extends from the body, and is configured to support a portion of a port plate. The clamp is configured to secure the drive gear, the port plate, and a pump gear set to the frame. The pump gear set is coupled to the drive gear.

Pump assembly fixture

A compact park lock assembly configured to be pulled towards a ramped section of a locking lever during actuation to unlock and lock a park lock gear. The compact park lock assembly includes a guide plate configured to align the park lock assembly during assembly, receive input loads from a pinion drive gear arrangement, position and restrain movement of the guide plate, and provide for sensing of the position of the locking lever during operation. The compact park lock assembly also includes an abutment plate to facilitate mounting of the park lock assembly, a spring section to restrain the guide plate, and a clip section to force and retain the abutment plate section to a housing.

Compact park lock assembly

An improved park lock rod assembly is provided for a park lock mechanism of a vehicle transmission wherein the park lock rod assembly includes a spring-loaded lock rod captured by a guide member. The guide member includes a first bulbous open slot that is generally L-shaped and receives one end of the lock rod, and another open slot spaced axially from the first open slot that receives another end of the lock rod. This slot configuration allows the rod to pivot relative to the guide member and seat within the second open slot, which permits ready assembly of the lock rod to the guide member. The park lock rod assembly may be manually assembled without the need for crimping or other fasteners. Further, the rod is grooved to cooperate with keyhole shapes provided in the open slots wherein the groove and slot configurations permit the rod to be assembled into the guide member while preventing separation during reciprocating movement of the lock rod.

Park lock rod assembly

A park lock roller assembly () includes at least one roller (), a shaft rod (), and a guide plate (). The roller () is rotably coupled to one of the shaft rod (). The shaft rod () is located within the guide plate () for longitudinal movement relative thereto. The park lock roller assembly () is pulled towards a pawl () to actuate the pawl () into locking engagement with a locking gear () to reliably lock a vehicle transmission in a parked position.

Park lock roller assembly

A marine transmission located within drive housing includes a torque transmitting gear set and a clutch mechanism. The torque transmitting gear set includes top and bottom bevel gears and opposing side idler bevel gears mounted to a pinion shaft. The pinion shaft is mounted on a carrier and the clutch mechanism engages the carrier to rotate with the input shaft to drive the output shaft in the forward direction and engages the carrier to a reaction plate fixed to the drive housing to drive the output shaft in the reverse direction.
