A modular decor apparatus includes a base, an elongated charging member, and at least one modular powered unit removably coupled to the elongated charging member by a magnetic force. The elongated charging member has a first end connected to the base and a second end. The elongated charging member extends from the base from the first end to the second end, and comprises at least one shaft and a current carrying conductor coiled around the at least one shaft. The current carrying conductor generates an electrical signal from a power source. The at least one modular powered unit is capable of receiving the electrical signal from the elongated charging unit to power the at least one modular powered unit. The at least one modular powered unit can be a task light, an ambient light, a ring light, a speaker, and/or a charging port, among other examples.

An outdoor power equipment unit, such as a lawn mower, includes a frame movable over the ground. A handle assembly is provided on the frame to allow an operator to walk on the ground behind the handle assembly while operating the unit. A traction drive and a ground grooming or working implement are carried on the frame. A traction control hand grip and an implement control bail are carried on the handle assembly. Both the hand grip and the bail are movable relative to the handle assembly by flexure provided by first and send compliant mechanisms.

A motion seat is described that includes a chassis, a seat frame, a seat cushion, a backrest, and a resilient hinge. The seat frame is attached to the chassis and the seat cushion and the backrest are each attached to the seat frame. The resilient hinge formed as a unitary body and may be formed from a resilient polymer. The seat cushion and/or the backrest is pivotably attached to the seat frame with the resilient hinge.

A walk power mower has a deck with an upwardly and rearwardly extending handle behind which a user walks when operating the mower. The mower is self-propelled by a variable speed traction drive. The handle includes a slidable handle grip for engaging and selecting a speed of the traction drive to control the ground speed of the mower. Forward ground speed is set by pushing the handle grip forwardly on the handle from a neutral position. Reverse ground speed if available is by pulling the handle grip rearwardly from its neutral position. The handle grip follows a curved path as it moves forwardly or rearwardly to flatten the path of travel of the handle grip from the travel that would have occurred absent the curved path.

A fabric seat for a chair and a method and machine for manufacturing the fabric seat. The fabric seat comprises a seat frame that supports the outer circumference of a fabric material. The seat frame comprises grasping members that secure the fabric to the seat frame and retain the desired stretch in the fabric. The grasping members can be teeth. A cover is also provided, which is snapped onto the circumference of the seat frame, to trap the fabric and protect the user from the grasping members.
