A lighting fixture may include a housing, an illumination source disposed within the housing, and a frame coupled to the housing. The frame may include a first side and a second side abutting the first side to form a joint, wherein a gap extends at the joint and at least one of the first side or the second side is configured to obscure at least a portion of the gap.

Lighting frame

A luminaire assembly includes a frame and a back plate. In some examples, the frame includes a lip, and the back plate includes a tab. The back plate is positionable within a housing area of the frame such that the tab is engaged with the lip and the back plate is retained within the frame. In other examples, a luminaire assembly includes a wireless module with an antenna positioned adjacent to a module opening of the back plate. The antenna provides wireless transmissions above the top side of the back plate and below the bottom side of the back plate. A luminaire support clip for a luminaire assembly includes a base and a tab. The tab and the base define a receiving area, and the luminaire support clip receives a portion of an edge of a back plate of the luminaire assembly within the receiving area.

A retainer ring for a light fixture includes a cylindrical main body section that defines a cylindrical axis, and an inner retaining flange that extends radially inward from a distal end of the main body section. The inner retaining flange extends substantially about a circumference of the distal end. One or more coupling features extend radially inward from the retainer ring. A customization kit for a light engine that defines an optical axis includes a retainer ring configured to couple with the light engine, and two or more primary optics that are mechanically compatible with the light engine, and retainable to the light engine with the retainer ring. When the retainer ring couples with the light engine, a cylindrical axis of the retainer ring coincides with the optical axis.

A light fixture includes a housing having sidewalls that define a manifold aperture, extending from upper to lower edges of the manifold aperture. The housing includes first coupling features. The light fixture includes at least one adapter plate with second coupling features that removably couple with the first coupling features. The adapter plate defines an adapter plate aperture. At least one light emitting engine removably couples with the adapter plate such that emitted light passes through the adapter plate aperture. The light fixture further includes a baffle that includes at least one baffle cell. The baffle cell includes an upper baffle edge that defines: an upper baffle aperture through which light emitted by the light engine passes, a lower baffle edge that defines an output aperture for the emitted light, and a baffle cell wall that extends from the upper baffle edge to the lower baffle edge.

A baffle for use in a light fixture that includes one or more light emitter positions includes one or more upper edges, each of the upper edges encircling a light emitting aperture and lying within an upper region. The baffle also includes one or more lower edges that correspond in number with the one or more upper edges, each lower edge lying within a lower region, and encircling an output aperture. Plan view shapes of the upper and lower edges form closed shapes that are devoid of angles. The baffle further includes an interior baffle surface that extends downwardly from each of the upper edges to corresponding ones of the lower edges. The interior baffle surface is continuously and downwardly concave from each of the upper edges to each of the lower edges, and is devoid of angles.

Described are embodiments of driver brackets having dividers that separate low voltage wires from high voltage wires within a driver enclosure so as to reduce the risk of high and low voltage wires coming into contact within the driver enclosure. Also described are embodiments of driver brackets that support a driver entirely on one side of the driver bracket.

Retrofit light fixtures suitable for installation without tools. One or more spring bands deform as the fixture is forced through a ceiling opening and resume their preloaded shape to hold the fixture in place. Some embodiments may be installed in round ceiling openings and may utilize LED light sources.

Downlight fixtures

An enclosure for an LED circuit board is manufactured from a flame resistant material and includes LED apertures through which LEDs mounted on an LED circuit board may pass. The enclosure is designed to be positioned on the LED circuit board so that, when so positioned, the LEDs extend at least partially through the LED apertures in the enclosure. When the enclosure is positioned on the board, portions of its lower surface contact the upper surface of the board. Various fixation/retention methods may be used to retain the enclosure in position relative to the circuit board. It is preferable that such methods allow for the separation of the enclosure from the board.
