A venous anchor device operably coupled by graft material to form an anastomotic connector is provided. The venous anchor device includes a tubular main body having a metal frame structure and including a distal end and a proximal end, the distal end including a plurality of barbs thereon wherein said distal end has an outer diameter greater than the proximal end. The venous anchor device is fluidly connected by a graft to form an anastomotic connector.

An arterial anchor device and a venous anchor device operably coupled by graft material to form an anastomotic convector is provided. The arterial anchor device comprises a generally tubular main body including a distal end and a proximal end, the distal end defining a plurality of flanges integrally formed with the tubular main body and being movable from a first loaded position to a second expanded position. The venous anchor device includes a tubular main body having a metal frame structure and including a distal end and a proximal end, the distal end including a plurality of barbs thereon wherein said distal end has an outer diameter greater than the proximal end. The arterial anchor device and venous devices are fluidly connected by a graft to form an anastomotic connector.

An anastomotic connector comprises a vessel anchor, a midgraft connector and graft material. The vessel anchor has a generally tubular main body including a distal end and a proximal end, the distal end defining a plurality of flanges integrally formed with the tubular main body and being movable from a first loaded position to a second expanded position. The midgraft connector operably couples the graft to the vessel anchor to form an anastomotic connector between an artery and a vein.

An anastomotic connector comprises a generally tubular access port having a first end and a second end, a generally tubular main body portion having a first end and a second end, wherein the second end of the main body portion is positioned adjacent to the second end of the access port such that the main body portion and access port are in fluid communication, and an anchor member received, within the access port and having a plurality of fingers that are extendable from the first end thereof. The fingers of the anchor member are movable between a loaded position wherein the fingers are substantially parallel to a center axis of the access port and an expanded position wherein the fingers are substantially perpendicular to the center axis of the access port.

Anastomotic connector

A device for application of energy within a tubular bodily structure including an optical fiber couplable to a source of laser energy and a guidewire tip. The optical fiber has a laser emitting portion remote from the source of laser energy and a distal end. The guidewire tip is operably secured to the optical fiber and extends distally outwardly away from the distal end of the optical fiber. The guidewire tip assists in advancing the device through the tubular bodily structure.

A closure device to be inserted at least partially through a blood vessel wall aperture in a blood vessel wall. The closure device includes at least two parts, an internal part and an external part. The internal part is adapted to be extended at least partially through the blood vessel wall aperture and into the lumen to at least partially block the blood vessel wall aperture. Each of the internal part and the external part consists essentially of a metal that biodegrades within a living being in a period of time that permits biological repair of the blood vessel wall in and around the blood vessel aperture.

Metal vascular aperture closure device

A closure device to be inserted at least partially through a blood vessel wall aperture in a blood vessel wall, having at least two metal petals that can be inserted through the blood vessel wall aperture and into the lumen of the blood vessel. The petals are structured to prevent withdrawal through the blood vessel wall aperture when the length of the petal is generally aligned with the blood vessel wall. The metal petals have alignment features that tend to urge them into alignment relative to each other. The closure device includes a metal expansion member that is alterable from an unexpanded state to an expanded state. A bioabsorbable tensioning member interconnects the petals and the metal expansion member and is securable to the metal expansion member.

A guidewire converter for use in intravascular procedures along with a guidewire. The guidewire converter includes an elongate tubular structure defining a lumen having an inner diameter and a first outer diameter. The inner diameter of the lumen is sized to receive the guidewire for intravascular procedures. The guidewire converter includes a locking mechanism coupled to the elongate tubular structure that has a second outer diameter that is less than or substantially equal to the first outer diameter. Operation of the locking mechanism releasably secures the elongate tubular structure to the guidewire.

Convertible guidewire system and methods

A catheter to be passed over a guidewire, including a screw portion with a cylindrical hollow shaft and a helical thread portion extending outwardly from the hollow shaft. The screw portion is secured coaxially to a tubular portion formed from a substantially rigid material. The tubular portion has, along a portion of its length, at least two slits having a pattern geometry that limits torsional displacement. The catheter also includes a hub having a lumen joined substantially coaxially to the tubular portion.
