A method of controlling a brake system for a vehicle. A foundation brake may be applied to provide a foundation brake torque. Vehicle speed data, vehicle inclination data, and foundation brake pressure data may be obtained. A foundation brake torque profile may be determined that includes a set of vehicle speed values, a set of foundation brake pressure values, and a set of foundation brake torque values.

Method of controlling a brake system for a vehicle

A tire inflation system and a method of control. The tire inflation system includes the first gas supply and a second gas supply. The first gas supply is configured to provide a first compressed gas mixture. The second gas supply is configured to provide a second compressed gas mixture having a greater concentration of nitrogen than the first compressed gas mixture. The first or second compressed gas mixtures may be provided to inflate a vehicle tire.

Vehicle tire inflation system and a method of control

A tandem axle suspension assembly includes a pair of walking beams disposed substantially parallel to a vehicle longitudinal axis supporting first and second axles. A link plate is pivotally attached to each of the walking beams and is pivotal about an axis transverse to the longitudinal axis. A first and a second link include pivotal connections between the link plate and a vehicle frame member. Vertical movement of the walking beams causes a corresponding rotation of the link plate to compensate for longitudinal displacement of the pivotal links with the first and second links and minimize longitudinal displacement of the walking beams.
