Methods and systems for creating a device having a switch trace are disclosed. The systems and methods described herein may include a device that has a chassis, the chassis having a top and a bottom, at least one antenna affixed to the top of the chassis, a first laser direct structuring-fabricated (LDS) trace, a second LDS trace, and a button, the button connected to the first LDS trace and the top of the chassis, wherein the button is configured to contact the second LDS trace when the button is depressed and complete a circuit between the first LDS trace and the second LDS trace upon contact.

A power line phase coupler system for repeating data signals between power line phases that can be easily installed by a user. The power line phase coupler system includes a housing, a female connector positioned within the housing, a male connector electrically connected to the female connector by a length of cord, and a repeater coupler electrically connected to the male connector. The repeater coupler is electrically connected between Phase A and Phase B of the male connector for repeating and amplifying a data signal received from either phase to the opposite phase.

The homeowner can view, monitor and control features of their home through the web page such as viewing interior images of their home or adjusting the thermostat for the interior of their home. In addition, the control unit may notify the appropriate supplier when propane or food becomes low within the home through the global computer network.
