Disclosed are systems and methods for optimizing a pick rate based on an optimized arrangement of products in a tote and an optimizing pick path. The arrangement of the products in the tote are based on one or more parameters of the tote and one or more attributes of each of the products. Parameters of the tote include a pack density and maximum weight capacity. Attributes of the products include a volume, fragility, weight, hazard, and orientation. The arrangement of the products in the tote dictate the path a picker takes to collect the products. Products collected at a first instant in time are placed at the bottom of the tote while products collected at a later instant in time are placed closer to the top of the tote. The analytics server transmits instructions for arranging the products in the tote such that a picker optimally orients the products.

Systems and methods for optimizing pick rate

Systems and methods for managing kit orders in a fulfillment center are described herein. The example systems can be configured to receive a determination that a kit pick job is needed to pre-assemble a kit, wherein the kit comprises a first item and a second item. The determination can be based on a number of orders for the kit, a kit pre-assembly time, and a kit on-demand assembly time. The determination also can be based on historical order data for the kit and a predicted number of orders for the kit. The kit pick job is created, wherein the kit pick job is associated with at least one of a plurality of the first item and a plurality of the second item, and the kit pick job is transmitted to an autonomous vehicle for completion.

Systems and methods for optimizing assembly of product kits in an order fulfillment center using autonomous vehicles

Systems and methods for managing consolidated orders in a fulfillment center are described herein. The example systems can be configured to receive an exception when an item associated with a consolidated order cannot be collected. Subsequently, when the example systems determine that the item can be collected, the example systems can consider different factors in creating a job to collect the item. The different factors can include a shipping cutoff time, a size of the item, a capacity of a storage container used in collecting the item, and the size, location, and availability of other items to be collected for the consolidated order.

Systems and methods for dynamic management of consolidation orders

Systems and methods for using kits as a source of inventory in a fulfillment center are described herein. The example systems can be configured to receive a determination to use a kit as a source of a first item, where the kit comprises the first item and a second item. The determination can be based on a low inventory threshold for the first item as well as order data for the first item and the kit. The systems can identify the kit location and create a kit disassembly pick job. The kit disassembly pick job can identify the kit location and provide instructions for disassembling the kit. The systems can transmit the kit disassembly pick job to an autonomous vehicle for completion.
