A multi-mode high chair for a child that may be alternatively configured as a high chair, a toddler chair, or a booster seat. The high chair comprises a toddler chair on which is nestingly mounted a booster seat to define a high chair configuration. An easily operable latch mechanism secures the booster seat to the toddler seat to retain the chair in the high chair configuration. The latch is easily and conveniently operable to enable the booster seat to be removed from the toddler chair to convert the high chair into a toddler chair and a separate booster seat. Folding feet on the booster seat allow it to stably rest on a chair or the like. A tray selectively attachable to the booster seat and an adjustable footrest add further utility to the high chair.

Multi-mode high chair

A foldable napper accessory for a child's playard positions an infant to minimize the risk of falls. The napper frame is foldable from a generally planar deplyed orientation about one or more generally longitudinally extending frame folding axes. The ends of an elongate support leg are pivotally connected to opposing side rail members of the napper frame and configured to be foldable about a leg folding axis generally transverse to the frame. Pivoting about the leg folding axis angles the support leg from the plane of the deployed napper frame or aligns the leg with the plane of the napper frame for stowage. An intermediate folding joint is provided in the support leg which includes intermediate axis generally perpendicular to the leg folding axis that allows folding of the leg only when the leg is folded into a specific orientation.

An improved bassinet frame for an infant playard comprising a plurality of structural members configured to nest within a playard top frame top and rest upon supports on corner members of the playard frame. The bassinet frame includes a pair of spaced-apart, parallel side members connected by a pair of perpendicularly aligned uplift preventing end members. The bassinet frame end members extend beneath playard frame end members when the bassinet frame is deployed for use such that the playard end frame members inhibit uplift of the bassinet frame. The side members each further include a joint positioned approximately midway along the respective lengths allowing the bassinet frame to be folded along an axis parallel to its width. Folding the bassinet frame retracts the end members from beneath the playard end frame members and allows the bassinet frame to be removed from the playard.

A foldable frame for a stroller having front and rear legs with wheels disposed at the ends thereof and a handle support joined at a folding mechanism. The folding mechanism synchronizes motion of the front leg and handle to collapse them adjacent to the rear leg. The mechanism also actuates a swivel mechanism on a front wheel that swivels the front wheel to a predetermined position optimized to allow the stroller to be supported by the wheels when folded.

A playard having an easily and selectively attachable changing table platform including a saddle structure for resting upon upper perimeter frame members of the playard and secured from unintentional removal by a latching mechanism. The latching mechanism includes a connector that is secured to the playard upper perimeter frame members in a manner fixing the vertical separation of the connector and the frame member. The changing table includes a latching member moveable between catch and release positions that engages the connector as the changing table is moved into an operable position and prevents the changing table from being uplifted from the playard. The moveable latching member is biased toward the catch position. Movement toward the release position allows the changing table to be removed from the playard.

A stroller having an articulated frame with at least one front leg, at least one rear leg, and a reclinable seatback support. An adjustment member is fixed to the frame and defines a plurality of detents that correspond to selectable recline positions for the reclinable seatback support. A locking member is movably attached to the reclinable seatback support and removably engages one of the plurality of detents. An actuator handle is connected to the locking member and is movably mounted on a handle guide that is fixed to the seatback support. The actuator handle is slidable along the handle guide to a first position to move the locking member away from one of the plurality of detents and slidable along the handle guide to a second position to move the locking member into engagement with one of the plurality of detents.

The stroller includes a frame having at least one front leg, at least one rear leg, and at least one wheel mounted on each leg. The frame defines front and rear portions and right and left sides. The stroller also includes a seat having a seat base and a seat back pivotally mounted to the frame. The seat back has a front surface, a rear surface, a top portion and a bottom portion and is rotatable relative to the frame between at least one substantially upright or reclined back support position and a travel seat support position wherein the top portion of the seat back extends towards the front portion of the frame and is capable of supporting a travel seat thereon.

Stroller frame tubing

A child motion device has a frame assembly configured to rest on a floor surface. The device also has a drive system that drives a swing assembly. The swing assembly can include a pair of swing arms having proximal ends and distal ends. The distal ends support a child seat assembly. The distance between the distal ends relative to the distance between proximal ends is adjustable, thereby adjusting at least one motion characteristic of the device. The adjustable motion characteristics can include a gliding motion and a swinging motion.

An open top child swing includes a frame, first and second hanger arms rotatably coupled to the frame, and a seat coupled to the first and second hanger arms. The frame can include a first hanger mount configured to removably receive the first hanger arm and a second hanger mount configured to removably receive the second hanger arm so that the seat can be removed from the frame. The frame also can include first and second legs, first and second housings coupled to the first and second legs, respectively, and a battery back removably mounted to one of the first and second housings.

Open top swing

A swing seat configured to be supported by a swing frame includes a seat bottom frame, a seat back frame movably coupled to the seat bottom frame, and a recline mechanism to recline the seat back frame relative to the seat bottom frame. The recline mechanism includes first and second mounts on opposite sides of the seat back frame to movably mount the seat back frame to the seat bottom frame, at least one recline lock associated with at least one of the first and second mounts and configured to lock the seat back frame in at least two recline positions relative to the seat bottom frame, and a recline actuator having a grip intermediate the first and second mounts and movable between an un-actuated position and an actuated position. The at least one recline lock is movable between a locked position to set the recline position of the seat back frame relative to the seat bottom frame and an unlocked position to allow adjustment of the recline position of the seat back frame relative to the seat bottom frame. The recline actuator is coupled to the at least one recline lock such that movement of the recline actuator from the un-actuated position to the actuated position moves the at least one recline lock from the locked position to the unlocked position.
