Cap assemblies with magnetic closure retention mechanisms and drink containers including the same. A cap assembly includes a base, a drink spout defining a passage, a closure configured to be selectively transitioned between a closed configuration and a stowed configuration via an open configuration, and a magnetic closure retention mechanism to magnetically retain the closure in the stowed configuration. When the closure is in the closed configuration, the closure is operatively coupled to the drink spout and obstructs the flow of liquid therethrough. When the closure is in the open configuration or the stowed configuration, the drink spout is uncovered and unobstructed by the closure. When the closure is in the stowed configuration, the closure is magnetically retained against the base or a handle of the cap assembly.

A fluid container including a fluid vessel having a neck with an opening and having an internal compartment sized to hold a volume of fluid, the internal compartment being at least partially enclosed by an opaque layer, a closure assembly removably coupled to the fluid container to cover the opening, and two or more fluid level indicators defined in the opaque layer, each fluid level indicator comprising a translucent or transparent material configured to permit light to pass through the opaque layer and into the internal compartment, at least two of the two or more fluid level indicators being positioned on circumferentially opposed sides of the fluid vessel.

Drink containers with mouthpiece assemblies having a dispensing configuration and a stowed configuration. A mouthpiece assembly defines a liquid passage through which drink liquid may be dispensed when the mouthpiece assembly is in the dispensing configuration and includes means for selectively restricting the flow of drink liquid through the liquid passage when the mouthpiece assembly is in the stowed configuration. In some examples, the means for selectively restricting the flow of drink liquid include a tube that at least partially defines the liquid passage and which includes a crimping region. The crimping region may be constructed of a resiliently and reversibly deformable material that is adapted to restrict the flow of drink liquid through the liquid passage when the mouthpiece assembly is in the stowed configuration. In some embodiments, the mouthpiece assembly includes a means for automatically releasing the mouthpiece assembly from its stowed configuration to a dispensing configuration.

The valve assembly includes at least one drink outlet, at least one shower outlet, and a barrel valve. The valve assembly is configured to be selectively transitioned between a closed configuration, a drink configuration, and a shower configuration. The barrel valve is configured to be selectively rotated relative to the closure base about a rotational axis of the closure assembly to transition the valve assembly between the closed configuration, the drink configuration, and the shower configuration.

Closure assemblies and drink containers including the same. A drink container includes a liquid vessel and a closure assembly. A closure assembly includes a closure base, a valve insert, and a valve insert retainer. The closure base defines a base interior side, a base exterior side, and a closure base passage. The valve insert is operatively received within the closure base passage and includes a liquid inlet and a liquid outlet. The valve insert is configured to transition the closure assembly between a closed configuration and a drink configuration. The valve insert retainer is configured to prevent removal of the valve insert from the closure base when operatively coupled to the valve insert. The valve insert is configured to be selectively and repeatedly received by and removed from the closure base passage only when the valve insert retainer is selectively removed from the valve insert.

Closure assemblies and drink containers including the same

Drink containers include a liquid container and a cap assembly removably coupled to the liquid container. Cap assemblies include a body that defines a drink outlet for dispensing drink liquid, and an operational assembly that is operatively coupled to the body and that has at least an open configuration permitting drink liquid to be dispensed and a closed configuration restricting drink liquid from being dispensed. In some embodiments, the operational assembly also has a cleaning configuration in which portions of the operational assembly are spaced away from the body of the cap assembly for cleaning. In some embodiments, the operational assembly is positioned predominantly on the exterior of the body of the cap assembly.
