A vehicle behavior control method includes: selecting a center of gravity point at which behavior control for a vehicle is to be performed; setting a target roll behavior value and a target pitch behavior value at the selected center of gravity point such that behavior of the selected center of gravity point is less than a predefined reference value; calculating a target roll moment corresponding to the target roll behavior value and a target pitch moment corresponding to the target pitch behavior value; generating a control signal to be transmitted to at least one actuator for following the target roll moment and the target pitch moment; and transmitting the control signal to the at least one actuator to perform control such that the behavior at the selected center of gravity point is less than the predefined reference value.

Vehicle behavior control method, a computing system, and a vehicle supporting the same

An apparatus and a method for controlling motion of a vehicle to improve turning motion performance are provided. The processor determines a riding position of a user, receives information about a steering angle of the vehicle, and outputs a vehicle control signal with regard to turning motion performance according to at least one of a phase difference between a yaw rate and lateral acceleration or a lateral slip angle with respect to the riding position, based on the received steering angle. A controller controls the vehicle in accordance with the vehicle control signal. The apparatus provides a passenger of the vehicle with optimal turning motion performance.

Vehicle motion control apparatus and method thereof

The present disclosure relates to an apparatus for controlling the motion of a vehicle to improve riding comfort, and a method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a processor may determine a boarding location for a user and may determine a vehicle control signal in consideration of riding comfort according to acceleration or jerk based on the boarding location. A controller may control the vehicle depending on the vehicle control signal.

Apparatus for assisting steering of vehicle and control method thereof

Disclosed herein are a vehicle configured to prevent a collision and a control method thereof. The vehicle includes a chassis; a steering unit configured to change a direction of the chassis; a brake unit configured to adjust a braking force of the chassis; a detector configured to detect movement information of the chassis; and a controller configured to confirm a variation rate of movement of the chassis based on the detected movement information and configured to automatically control an operation of the steering unit and the brake unit when the confirmed variation rate is out of a reference range. When a collision occurs, the vehicle may automatically perform at least one of steering control, side braking control, or a damping control, and thus a secondary collision may be prevented, the incidence of additional injury may be reduced, the speed of the vehicle may be stably reduced or stopped, and the vehicle may be moved to a safe lane so that a stabilization time of the vehicle may be reduced.

Vehicle and method for controlling the same

An apparatus and a method for determining a mounting state of an electronic control unit (ECU) of an electronic controlled suspension (ECS) system can determine either a normal mounting state or a mounting failure of the ECU of the ECS system. The apparatus for determining the mounting state of the ECU includes: a signal processor receiving a damper velocity of each damper; an integrator calculating an integral of the damper velocity by integrating the damper velocity of each damper received by the signal processor per unit time; a comparator comparing the integral of the damper velocity calculated by the integrator with an actual stroke of each damper; and an index output unit outputting a mounting state of the ECU in the form of an index according to comparison results of the comparator.
