A thermoplastic resin composition of the present invention is characterized by comprising: about 100 parts by weight of a polyolefin resin including one or more of a polypropylene resin and an ethylene-propylene block copolymer; about 10 parts by weight to about 60 parts by weight of a phosphorus nitrogen-based flame retardant; about 0.05 parts by weight to about 10 parts by weight of a maleic anhydride-modified olefin-based polymer; and about 5 parts by weight to about 40 parts by weight of talc having a calcium content of about 0.1% by weight or less. The thermoplastic resin composition has excellent flame retardancy, impact resistance, rigidity, molding processability, etc.

A thermoplastic resin composition of the present invention is characterized by including: about 100 parts by weight of a polyolefin resin; about 10-80 parts by weight of a flame retardant other than sodium phosphate; about 1-25 parts by weight of zinc oxide having an average particle size of about 0.2-3 &#x3bc;m and a specific surface area BET of about 1-10 m/g; and about 1-50 parts by weight of sodium phosphate. The thermoplastic resin composition includes: about 100 parts by weight of a thermoplastic resin; about 1 to about 30 parts by weight of an additive for laser direct structuring (LDS additive); about 0.01 to about 5 parts by weight of a hindered phenol-based compound; about 0.01 to about 10 parts by weight of a sodium phosphate salt; about 0.01 to about 5 parts by weight of a phosphite compound; about 0.01 to about 5 parts by weight of a sulfonate compound; and about 0.01 to about 10 parts by weight of a metal oxide, wherein a weight ratio of the hindered phenol-based compound, the sodium phosphate salt, the phosphite compound and the sulfonate compound to the metal oxide may range from about 2:1 to about 10:1. The thermoplastic resin composition has good properties in terms of plating reliability and thermal stability (discoloration resistance) and can secure good injection molding stability by suppressing gas generation upon injection molding.

The lens barrel member includes: a lens barrel surrounding an outer periphery of a lens; and a housing receiving the lens barrel, the lens barrel being secured to the housing, wherein the lens barrel is formed of a lens barrel composition including: about 50 wt % to about 75 wt % of a polycarbonate resin; about 20 wt % to about 45 wt % of a glass fiber; about 0.5 wt % to about 3 wt % of a polyolefin wax; and about 0.5 wt % to about 3 wt % of a fluorinated olefin resin, and a weight ratio of the polyolefin wax to the fluorinated olefin resin ranges from about 1:0.3 to about 1:3. The lens barrel member can have a low coefficient of friction and/or good properties in terms of rigidity and/or dimensional stability.

High flow thermoplastic resin composition with excellent chemical resistance, impact resistance and gloss

The present invention provides a chemical and impact resistant thermoplastic resin composition that can have improved extrudability. In one embodiment, the thermoplastic resin composition comprises a base resin including (A) about 1 to about 98% by weight of an epoxy group-containing vinyl copolymer resin; (B) about 1 to about 98% by weight of a rubber modified styrene copolymer resin; and (C) about 1 to about 98% by weight of a polyester resin; and about 1 to about 6 parts by weight of an aromatic vinyl-vinyl cyanide copolymer resin having a weight average molecular weight of about 1,000,000 to about 5,000,000, per 100 parts by weight of the base resin comprising (A)+(B)+(C). In another embodiment, the thermoplastic resin composition comprises a base resin including (A) about 1 to about 98% by weight of an epoxy group-containing vinyl copolymer resin; (B) about 1 to about 98% by weight of a rubber modified styrene copolymer resin; and (C) about 1 to about 98% by weight of a polyester resin; and (E) about 0.01 to about 1 part by weight of an epoxy-based additive, per 100 parts by weight of the base resin comprising (A)+(B)+(C).

Chemical and impact resistant thermoplastic resin composition having improved extrudability

A styrenic thermoplastic resin composition of the present invention comprises about 100 parts by weight of base resin comprising (A) about 10 to about 99 parts by weight of styrenic resin containing an epoxy group and (B) about 1 to about 90 parts by weight of polyester resin; and (C) about 0.1 to about 97 parts by weight of amorphous modified polyester resin, based on the total weight of the base resin. A molded article produced from the styrenic thermoplastic resin composition of the present invention can have excellent impact resistance and paintability.

Disclosed herein is a thermoplastic resin composition with good heat stability, light stability and impact strength. The thermoplastic resin composition comprises (A) about 1 to about 97.9% by weight of an epoxy group-containing vinyl copolymer resin; (B) about 1 to about 97.9% by weight of a rubber modified aromatic vinyl copolymer resin; (C) about 1 to about 97.9% by weight of a polyester resin; and (D) about 0.1 to about 97% by weight of an amorphous cycloaliphatic diol modified polyester.
