The purpose of the present invention is to diagnose a neurological disease such as dementia by using virtual reality, and the present invention receives a neurological disease-diagnosing problem from an external device, displays a virtual reality image through a display on the basis of the received neurological disease-diagnosing problem, and performs an examination using the virtual reality image according to user actions detected through various sensors. This process can be performed when linked with an external device such as a PC or a smart phone. Particularly, with respect to the neurological disease-diagnosing problem, the present invention includes: a first screen for introducing at least one object in a virtual reality space and hiding the same; and a second screen having a question on the hidden object. According to the present invention, neurological disease such as dementia can be conveniently examined without inconveniencing or burdening a patient.

Nerve disorder diagnosis apparatus and method using virtual reality

Disclosed is a VR (Virtual Reality) device for diagnosis of nerve disorder, system and method thereof, wherein the device comprises: a display part providing a user with a VR environment in response to an image; and a user response receiver receiving a user response relative to the image, and wherein the image includes an introduction video included with two or more characters, and a question video image provided subsequent to the introduction video to include an inquiry related to the characters, whereby a user's linguistic competence, visual ability and associative ability can be comprehensively evaluated, and more accurately grasp a degree of user's nerve disorder can be accurately grasped without being influenced by a user's academic background and age.

Further, a photostimulation apparatus may include: a membrane for insertion into a living body; and at least one first light source disposed on the membrane for irradiating light to a photosensitive material in the living body. Since the photostimulation apparatus is placed on the surface of cortex or dura, it may minimize damage of the brain tissue and may activate and/or inhibit a large area simultaneously using light.
