A writing instrument that includes a tubular body extending along a longitudinal axis between a rear end and a front end provided with an opening through which a writing tip is capable of protruding, a lateral button having at least one actuation face oriented radially outward and at least one first cam arranged inside the body, and a writing tip advancing mechanism that include a movable member movable in a longitudinal direction in the body. The movable member includes at least a first ramp inclined relative to the longitudinal axis, the lateral button is capable of remaining in a rest position in which the first cam is facing the first ramp, and the lateral button is capable of making a first tilting movement toward the inside of the body during which the first cam interacts with the first ramp and the movable member makes a first movement.

A hand-held device for applying correction tape on an application surface having at most only a supply spool for a stock of the correction tape. An applicator element, which can be a roller, applies the correction tape in its entirety on the application surface. No backing tape or the like is rewound back into the casing. Therefore, a second take-up spool can be omitted. In the vicinity of the application element a cut-off/separating element is provided for cutting off or separating the applied correction tape from the rest of the correction tape when lifting the device off an application surface.

Hand-held device for the application of a total tape onto a substrate

A hand-held device for transferring a film of, for example, an adhesive, a covering, or colored material, from a supply tape onto a substrate. The device has a base body, in which the supply and an application member are provided, and a cover for the application member. The cover is movable between a covering position, covering the application member, and a release position, exposing the application member. The cover is pivotably attached to the base body and to maintain the overall compactness of the device, the cover substantially follows the circular outline defined by the outer contour of the base body with minimal clearance gap between the cover and the base body.

Hand-held device for transferring a film onto a substrate with a concealable application member

A hand-held dispenser for applying a flowable correction medium on a substrate surface. The correction medium is provided in a reservoir of the dispenser and in fluid communication with an application member at least during operation of the dispenser, when the dispenser is pressed against a substrate surface, such that the correction medium can flow from the reservoir to the application member. The application member is configured and dimensioned such that an application width of the application member can be selected by adjusting the dimensions of a contact region of the application member and the substrate surface. This can be particularly done by adjusting the force and/or the direction by which the application member is pressed against the substrate surface.

Hand-held dispenser for applying a flowable correction medium on a substrate surface

The invention relates to a manual device for transferring a film consisting for example of adhesive, covering or coloured material from a backing strip to a substrate, with a housing in which a supply reel and a take-up reel for the backing strip are mounted so that they can rotate via a pivot bearing, which is formed by two coaxially arranged bearing components, engaging in each other like sleeves in the region of an annular or hollow cylindrical bearing joint, of which one bearing component is held on the housing so that it cannot rotate and the other bearing component is a part of the relevant reel support and in the course of which a return stop is provided for both reels with a locking pawl which meshes with a gear ring. To guarantee a compact design and economical fabrication, the locking pawl is arranged on the one bearing component against a spring force so that it yields elastically and the gear ring is arranged on the other bearing component.
