Systems and methods are provided for receiving input via an input device. A first signal is received via a muscle activity sensor. It is determined that the first signal corresponds to a movement of a user digit that does not correspond to a first interaction with an input element of the input device. A digit movement direction is identified, and a prediction of a second interaction with an input element is generated. A first confidence level associated with the prediction is below a threshold, and a second signal is received via a proximity sensor. A velocity of the user digit is determined, and a prediction of the second interaction with a first input element is made. It is identified that a second confidence level associated with the prediction is above the threshold, and a third signal associated with the first input element of the input device is generated for output.

Systems and methods are provided herein for enabling a media content system to create an exclusive profile based on a joint profile that was used to interact with a plurality of content items provided by a media service. The joint profile contains consumption data for all users who interacted with the plurality of content items. Based on the consumption data, the system identifies a plurality of clusters containing content items with similar metadata and generates a user interface with an identifier corresponding to each cluster and identifiers corresponding to the content items of each cluster. In response to receiving a selection of a subset of the clusters, the system generates an exclusive profile with the selected clusters. The exclusive profile contains the consumption data associated with the content items of the selected clusters and the system then recommends content items to the exclusive profile based on that consumption data.

A media application generates for display a first media asset on a first device associated with a first user profile. The media application determines that a second device associated with a second user profile is generating for display a second media asset and the second user profile is designated to share a counterpart version of media consumed in association with the second user profile with the first device. The media application identifies a time to share a counterpart version of the second media asset. At the identified time, the media application generates for display an overlay over the display of the first media asset on the first device. Specifically, a safety event is identified in a surrounding environment of a vehicle that comprises one or more color-changing exterior surfaces. In response to the identifying of the safety event, a color scheme is selected for the one or more color-changing exterior surfaces of the vehicle based on the type or safety event and the appearance of the surrounding environment. One or more color changing exterior surfaces of the vehicle are modified to match the selected color scheme.

The operations can include retrieving information associated with a passenger of the airplane. The operations can further include determining content targeting rules based on the information. The content targeting rules can be used to select content to be made available to the passenger on the airplane. The operations can further include transmitting, prior to takeoff, the content targeting rules via a radio access network to an on-board content controller on the airplane.

Ground-based controller for selectively curating content provided by in-flight entertainment systems

Methods and systems are disclosed herein for reconstructing censored media to an uncensored form using techniques such as content recognition, contextual analysis, facial analysis, voice fingerprinting, and voice reproduction, at the server level within a provider/server/client ecosystem, or at the client level. Specifically, a server or client receives a media stream, then buffers the media stream in a transitory and/or non-transitory memory and identifies a censored audio portion of the buffered media stream. The server then analyzes the video portion of the media stream and constructs a modified version of the censored audio portion based on the analysis of the video portion. The server then transmits, or the client then receives, the modified version of the media stream, which has the uncensored audio version of the censored audio portion of the media stream.

The operations can include determining an inventory of targeted advertisements for future flights. The operations can further include receiving a request to use a portion of the inventory for advertisements associated with an advertiser. The operations can further include transmitting instructions to an IFE controller on-board the airplane to cause the IFE controller to provide the advertisements during targeted advertisement opportunities during a flight.

An object recognition computer for a vehicle includes at least one processor and at least one memory storing program code executable by the at least one processor to perform operations. The operations are configured to receive video streams from a plurality of cameras spaced apart within the vehicle and each having a field-of-view capturing at least one passenger seat. For each of the video streams, the operations retrieve from a data structure information that defines a region within video frames of the video stream where object recognition is to be performed to attempt to identify a defined object associated with the at least one passenger seat. The operations then perform object recognition limited to within the defined region to identify the defined object. Notifications can be selectively generated to passengers and/or crew based on the object recognition.
