The invention concerns a case and a blank made of sheet corrugated cardboard or the like, the case having a polygonal cross section, having side faces, an upper face forming a lid, and a lower face forming the bottom of the case. The lid has at least two tabs located on two opposite sides of the lid, cut from the upper face or from side faces adjacent the upper face. The bottom has at least two recesses on its lower surface corresponding to the tabs, complementary in shape to the tabs and arranged such that the recesses fit into the tabs of a case stacked beneath.

Box of sheet material, such as cardboard or corrugated cardboard, including square or rectangular lateral faces, in pairs, connected by a folding line. The folding lines are mutually parallel and the lateral faces forming a right-angled parallelepiped (pa). This box includes other lateral faces forming a pyramid (py) adjoined by its base to the parallelepiped. It is obtained from a blank of sheet material including triangular or trapezoidal panels hinged to rectangular or square panels.

The pack is obtained from a blank of sheet material that includes trapezium-shaped or triangular panels hinged to rectangular panels.

Such a case comprises at least five lateral faces. It may be obtained by wrapping a sheet material blank about a mandrel in cooperation with a pressure plate whose profile corresponds to that of two or three consecutive faces of the mandrel.
