A hydraulic anti-vibration sleeve includes two coaxial rigid tubular membvers that are interconnected by an elastomer body (3) which co-operates therewith to form two diametrically opposite watertight pockets that intercommunicate via a narrow channel (Z), both pockets and the channel being filled with a liquid, the axial section of the portion of the body defining one of the pockets being U-shaped or V-shaped and open radially outwards, and being bonded to two rigid annular section members (8, 9) , with the axially central portion of the body forming two radial arms (6). The narrow channel (Z) comprises, in series: two lengths (10, 11) belonging to respective ones of the two annular section members (8, 9); and a connection (12) interconnecting the two lengths and axially disposed at the outside edge of one of the radial arms (6).

Hydraulic anti-vibration sleeves

A hydraulically damped bushing comprising two tubular bodies surrounding each other and joined with each other by an elastomeric member so designed as to form two sealed cavities communicating with each other by a narrow channel, the cavity-channel assembly being filled with a liquid, whereas the portion of said member which defines one of the cavities consists of a tight bellows whose edges are attached sealingly onto the external body. This bushing further comprises, within said defined cavity, a second tight bellows which is sealingly attached onto the external tubular body, the inner volume of said second bellows being vented to the open air through an aperture bored into said body.

Hydraulically damped bushings

A hydraulic antivibratory sleeve comprising two rigid tubular frames (1, 2), one surrounding the other and joined together by an elastomer body (3) shaped so as to form therewith at least two diametrically opposite sealed pockets (A, B) communicating together through a narrow channel (9), the assembly of said pockets and said narrow channel being filled with a damping liquid, the portion of the elastomer body which defines one at least of the pockets (A) having in axial section the general form of a U or a V open radially outwardly and being adhered to two rigid annular shaped sections (8) one at least of which contains the narrow channel. The mutual axial spacing of the two shaped sections (8) is provided by means of bosses (12, 15, 16) formed on the internal face of this frame (2).

Hydraulic antivibratory sleeves

A hydraulic antivibratory sleeve is disclosed comprising two rigid tubular frames (1, 2), one surrounding the other, and joined together by an elastomer body (3) shaped so as to form therewith at least two diametrically opposite sealed pockets (A, B) communicating together through a narrow channel, the assembly of the pockets and said channel being filled with a damping liquid, the portion of the elastomer body which defines the first pocket (A) having in axial section the general form of a radially outwardly open U or V, the narrow channel being formed of at least two narrow channels (9) each extending, at least approximately and at least partially, along a transverse arc of a circle having as axis the axis of the external tubular frame (2), each arc being situated close to this frame and close to an axial end of said frame. The first pocket (A) is divided into two independent compartments (A.sub.1, A.sub.2) into which the two narrow channels (9) open respectively assigned respectively to the damping of different oscillation frequencies.

The invention provides a hydraulic antivibratory support sleeve comprising two rigid tubular frames (1, 2), one surrounding the other and joined together by an elastomer body (3) adhered thereto and shaped so as to form therewith at least two sealed chambers (A, B) diametrically opposite in a direction Y separated from each other by a central dividing wall (6) and communicating together through a narrow channel (E), the assembly of the chambers and the channel being filled with a liquid. One at least of the sections, of its central dividing wall (6), separating the two chambers and connecting the two frames together is formed with a well (5) extending in direction Y, causing the two chambers (A and B) to communicate with each other, which well is closed by a mobile or deformable valve (4) associated with a device for limiting the amplitude of its deflections.
