The locking ribs partially mask the apertures to prevent the tips 4 from being removed when the slide 3 is slid into a closing position in which it is entirely housed inside the sheath 2. The slide is slidable downwards in the sheath to an opening position in which the ribs are clear of the slots or apertures to enable the ring to be removed and enable keys to be fitted to it or removed from it through the gap between the tips 4.
