A device allowing the creation of an alimentary bolus flow between two stomas, including means forming a pump; first/second sealed connection means capable of connecting the suction opening to an upstream/downstream stoma located on the abdominal wall of a patient; and first and/or second anti-reflux means. The first and/or second anti-reflux means includes a cavity into which the alimentary bolus passes, an inflatable balloon mounted in the cavity and means for inflating the balloon, that make it possible to modify the inflation of the latter, and the balloon is shaped to shift from an open position in which the balloon is partially inflated and has a neck allowing the passage of the alimentary bolus, to a closed position in which the balloon is more inflated than in the open position and in which the balloon is in contact with the wall of the cavity and the neck is sealed as a result of the portion of the wall of the balloon defining the neck being compressed against itself, at least over a portion of the height of the neck.

Device allowing an alimentary bolus flow between two stomas

A device enabling food bolus flow between two stomas, said device having a pump forming means (), said pump forming means () having an entry opening and an exit opening and being suitable for sucking food bolus through said entry opening and releasing it through said exit opening. The device further includes: &#x2014;first watertight connection means () suitable for connecting said entry opening to a upstream stoma (S) located on a patient's abdominal wall; &#x2014;second watertight connection means () suitable for connecting said exit opening to a downstream stoma (S), located on said patient's abdominal wall; said pump forming means being able to be activated by a user and suitable for being mounted on a patient's body, particularly on said patient's abdomen, in such a manner that once said device is mounted onto said patient's abdomen, food bolus flow can circulate from said upstream stoma (S) to said downstream stoma (S) outside of said patient's abdomen.
