A dobby includes two controlled latches for coupling a drive element mounted to a main drive shaft of the dobby and an actuator element in rotation. A first resilient element resiliently biases each of the latches towards a configuration in which their respective bearing surfaces are engaged with corresponding surfaces of the actuator element. Control members are provided for moving the latches against the action of the first resilient element and that act directly on the first latch and indirectly on the second latch so as to move the first latch against the first resilient element to thereby disengage its bearing surface with a corresponding surface of the actuator element while the second latch remains in a configuration in which its bearing surface is engaged with another corresponding surface of the actuator element.

Rotary dobby, a loom including such a dobby, and a method of controlling such a dobby

The lever () is fitted with two rollers (A,B) which are supported by a core () provided with a mounting bore (B) on an articulated shaft, wherein the rollers (A,B) are both mounted between two webs of a pair of webs which are added to the core (). A cam motion machine that includes several cams each defining at least one running track for a follower roller. Each cam is provided with a centering bore that permits mounting of the cam on a drive shaft, while elements are provided to apply a tightening force parallel to the drive shaft with a non-circular section. At least one washer-spacer, for which an internal edge is non-circular and designed to enable an axial displacement of the washer-spacer along the shaft, is fixed to rotate with the shaft and is in contact with at least one of the cams. The washer-spacer may be fixed to the cam by adherence and to the shaft by cooperation of shapes due to complementary projections provided on one of the shaft and the washer-spacer. A heald frame including two posts, two cross members and connectors which are used for securing at least one post to at least one corresponding cross member. Each connector includes an intermediate tubular fixing element which is disposed in a housing provided in the cross member and indented with respect to a front face of the cross member and which element defines an internal volume in which a protrusion extending from the at least one post is seated.

The dobby according to the invention comprises, at the level of each of its blades, an oscillating piece associated with an actuation element, at least one mobile coupling member borne by the actuation element and two pivoting levers subjected, on the one hand, to the action of a reading device and, on the other hand, to that of elastic means which tend to engage catches of the pivoting levers either with a jamming surface provided on the actuation element, or with the coupling member, while the lever in engagement with the jamming surface is out of range of a selector of the reading device. In addition, mechanical members independent of the reading device are adapted to displace, against the action of the elastic means, a lever whose catch is not in engagement with the jamming surface, with the result that it does not interfere with the angular displacement of the selector.

A shoe for protecting pulleys in a drawing system associated with a heddle frame of a weaving machine. The shoe has an inner portion of concave profile from which a projection extends so as to be receivable within a groove of the pulley. The shoe also includes two outer segments in one of which a groove is provided having a bottom which is oriented tangentially to the groove of the pulley so that the cable guided therein will be directed generally tangentially with respect to the groove of the pulley.

In a first embodiment the movement of the pivot pin is effected by the rotation of an eccentric bearing whereas in a second embodiment this movement is caused by a jack.

In a dobby drawing device in a weaving loom, the vertical displacement of a heddle frame is obtained with the aid of a single cable which is guided over first and second actuating levers to a set of springs. Connecting rods are pivotally attached to the supports and to a web fixed to the dobby shaft so that the dobby shaft is intermittently driven in rotation as the connecting rods are oscillated by the supports.
