Cement material, curable in the presence of water and including a hydraulic binder composition, which contains a mixture of hydraulic binders and a mixture of sulphate sources, wherein the hydraulic binder mixture includes: at least one hydraulic binder containing an alite-type mineralogical phase and at least one hydraulic binder containing an aluminate-type mineralogical phase, mainly consisting of ye'elimite (C4A3$) or a mixture of ye'elimite and calcium monoaluminate (CA), the mixture of sulphate sources containing at least one sulphate source with a solubility of &#x3c;4 g&#xb7;L&#x2212;1, and at least one sulphate source with a solubility &#x3e;4 g&#xb7;L&#x2212;1, the cement material optionally including mineral additions, fine granulates, large granulates and additives. The curable cement material is useful as a material capable of setting in cold weather, in particular a concrete, a mortar, a grout, a coating or a cement paste to be used at a temperature of &#x2212;10&#xb0; C. to +5&#xb0; C.

Curable hydraulic binder-based cement material intended to be used at low temperatures

A new photocatalytic composition is described that is designed for percolation in road surfaces. The composition contains no aggregates, but consists of cement, a photocatalyst, a superfluidifier, a viscosity modifier and an antifoaming agent, in suitable proportions. The composition is applied to porous open-graded asphalt courses, completely filling the cavities down to a thickness coming between 30 and 50 mm. The treated asphalt acquires a strong, durable photocatalytic activity, even when it is submitted to heavy mechanical loads and adverse weather conditions, as in the case of road surfaces in and out of town, liable to intense traffic.

Paving with a pollution-abating activity and a photocatalytic mixture for its preparation

A cement composition for liquid casting, based on a binder comprising Portland cement and additives comprising at least a fluidizer and a combination of a thickening agent acting by steric exclusion and a gelling thickening agent. The composition can also include a surface active agent to regulate the quantity of entrained air. Mixed with water and an aggregate, it permits obtaining, in a single casting, a self-leveling casting of a high thickness (equal to at least 6 cm) and of low density (about 1.6 to 1.9).
