The present invention concerns the use of a mixture of organic peroxides for crosslinking a polyolefin elastomer (POE), in particular intended to be used in photovoltaic applications. The invention also relates to a crosslinkable composition comprising at least one polyolefin elastomer (POE) and at least one mixture of organic peroxides. The present invention also concerns a method for preparing a material made from polyolefin elastomer (POE), preferably an encapsulating material or a sealing agent, in particular for photovoltaic cells, comprising a step of crosslinking a crosslinkable composition as defined previously.

The present invention relates to the use of one or more specific organic peroxides for the polymerization of an allylic monomer and/or at least one allylic copolymer. The subject of the present invention is a semi-rigid or flexible and low-gloss impact-reinforced acrylic material. The acrylic material according to the invention comprises a nanostructured matrix constituted of at least one thermoplastic acrylic block copolymer and at least one highly crosslinked acrylic copolymer. The matrix comprises at least one thermoplastic acrylic block copolymer. The highly crosslinked acrylic copolymer comprises, as sole monomer or as predominate monomer, MMA, that is to say that it comprises, by weight, more than 50%, advantageously more than 65% of MMA. The acrylic material according to the invention comprises from 60% to 99% by weight of matrix for 40% to 1% by weight of crosslinked copolymer. These materials may be converted by injection molding, extrusion, co-extrusion, extrusion-blow molding for producing parts, profiles, sheets or films for example.

The invention relates to an amphiphilic block copolymer having an increased speed of water adsorption. The non-water soluble copolymer, having a hydrophilic middle block and hydrophobic endblocks, has a high rate water transmission and/or permeation. The increase in rate is due to neutralization, or partial neutralization of the hydrophilic block of the copolymer. Furthermore, the absorption rate can be controlled by the extent of the neutralization. Another aspect of the invention is the use of co-monomers and/or additives to further increase or tailor the water absorption properties. The use of additives and comonomers is also shown to enhance the processability of the disclosed polymer composition.
