The compounds are N-(2,3,4-trimethoxybenzyl)piperazines N'-substituted by a radical containing a sulfonamide group, and pharmaceutically tolerable salts thereof, useful for treating myocardial ischaemic pathologies, cerebral vascular accident and manifestations of deficiency associated with chronic cerebral circulatory disorders. A compound disclosed is : N-benzyl-N-{3,3-dimethyl-4-[4-(2,3,4-trimethoxybenzyl) piperazin-1-yl]butyl}-(isoquinolin-5-yl)sulfonamide and its fumarate.

Substituted sulfonamides

The compounds are 3-[ (benzocycloalkyl)alkyl amino alkyl] -1,3,4,5-te trahydro 2H- 3-benzazepin-2 ones useful in cardiovascular field. A compound disclosed is (R,S)-7,8-dimethoxy-3-{3-{N-[(4,5-dimethoxybenzocyclobut-1-yl) methyl]-N-methyl amino}propyl}-1,3,4,5-tetrahydro-2H-3-benzazepin-2-one.

(Benzocycloalkyl) alkylamines

Trimetazidine compounds

The compounds disclosed are 1-R'-4-RS-piperidines in which R' and R, which are different, may each represent: (1) (alkoxybenzyl)-alkyl or -alkenyl, or (2) (optionally-substituted chromanyl-, thiochromanyl-, chromenyl- or thiochromenyl)-alkyl or -alkenyl.
