A process for obtaining a material including a substrate coated on one of its sides with a coating including a functional layer, includes depositing the functional layer on the substrate, then depositing an absorbent layer on top of the functional layer, then performing a heat treatment by radiation, the radiation having at least one treatment wavelength between 200 and 2500 nm, the absorbent layer being in contact with air during the heat treatment, wherein the ab sorb ent layer ab sorbs at least 80% of the radiation used during the heat treatment and transmits less than 10% thereof.

Method for obtaining a substrate coated with a functional layer

A laser apparatus includes a plurality of laser modules each generating a laser line in a working plane. The laser modules are juxtaposed so that the laser lines generated by the modules combine into a single laser line. Each of the laser modules includes at least one laser line generator and a laser line shaper. The laser line shaper includes an array of microlenses such that the final laser line generated by each laser module has, in the working plane, a power density profile with a width (L) at 90% of the maximum power density and a width (L) at 10% of the maximum power density. A ratio L/Lis between 1/15 and 1/5.

Modular laser apparatus

A laser apparatus includes a plurality of laser modules each generating a laser line in a working plane. The laser modules are juxtaposed so that the laser lines generated by the modules combine into a single laser line. Each of the laser modules includes at least one laser line generator. The laser line generator includes two linear arrays of strips of laser diodes each emitting a focused laser beam. The two linear arrays are arranged parallel to each other so that the strips are staggered. The two sets of parallel laser beams generated by the two linear arrays of strips, respectively, are merged into a single laser line by a set of mirrors. The linear arrays of strips of laser diodes and the mirrors are arranged so that the two sets of laser beams trace optical paths of the same length before being merged into a single laser line.

A method and a system for detecting defects of a transparent substrate are provided. The system includes: a plurality of detection channels, each of which includes an illumination component for providing illumination to the substrate and an imaging component for scanning the substrate to provide image of the substrate; a transport module, for producing relative motion between the substrate and the illumination components and the imaging components included in the plurality of detection channels; and a controlling module, for controlling the illumination components and the imaging components included in the plurality of detection channels so that at least two illumination components of the illumination components included in the plurality of detection channels provide illumination to the substrate alternately, and the imaging component included in any of the plurality of detection channels scans the substrate when the illumination component included in that detection channel illuminates the substrate, wherein the imaging components included in at least two detection channels of the plurality of detections channels are the same imaging component. The method and system described by the present invention is capable of discriminating real defects from fake defects which enables substrate to be inspected with free of cleaning.
