A method for managing switching of a terminal between a plurality of physical access points to a Wi-Fi network, a virtual access point identifier dedicated to the terminal being assigned by a controller to a first physical access point, the terminal associating with the first physical access point by a first connection using the virtual access point identifier. The method includes at the first access point: transmitting, from the first physical access point to the controller, information relating to the capabilities of the terminal, receiving an order to switch from the first connection to a second connection established between the terminal and a second physical access point of the plurality using the same virtual access point identifier, the first and the second connections being adapted to the capabilities of the terminal.

A method for receiving a signal during an intra-body communication via a user carrying a terminal. The method includes, at the level of the terminal: receiving, from a communication device, a signal characterizing the fact that an approach gesture performed by the user toward the device has been performed between two times; detecting the time interval, between the two times, in which the amplitude of the signal is at a maximum; detecting, in the time interval, information determining whether or not the user has touched the device between the two times; and validating a transaction depending on the value of said detected information.

Method for validating a transaction during a radio communication

A method for receiving a signal during an intrabody communication via a user carrying a terminal. The method is performed by the terminal and includes: receiving a signal from a communication device, indicating that the user moved closer to the device between two instants; detecting, in the signal received, a first radio frame generated between the two instants, the first frame being at the same frequency as that of the signal received; detecting, in the signal received, a second radio frame generated between the two instants, the second frame being at a different frequency to that of the signal received; comparing the first frame to the second frame; and validating a transaction based on the presence or absence of information common to the first and second compared frames.

The disclosed technology relates to a method for receiving a near-field radio wave, the wave being received using electromagnetic-wave conduction capacities of the body of a user who is able to make a validation gesture that modifies characteristics of the radio wave. A method is provided for receiving a received signal corresponding to a multicarrier signal transmitted by at least one transmitter via a transmission channel. A method and apparatus are provided for coding an OFDM/OQAM-type multi-carrier signal formed by a temporal succession of symbols comprising a set of data elements. Each of the data elements modulates a carrier frequency of the signal. Each of the data elements is formed by adding two real values in quadrature, which each correspond to a binary word of a source signal, which is modulated using a pre-determined modulation constellation, such as to transmit information over a real channel and an imaginary channel of the OFDM/OQAM symbols.
