A rotating electric machine comprising a rotor () comprising a body () on the periphery of which are installed conductors () forming the winding, and a stator () positioned around the rotor () comprising a magnetized structure extending along a circumference of the stator (). The body () of the rotor () is made partially of plastic, in the region of the teeth which conventionally separate the notches near the air gap, on the periphery of the armature. A modified structure of magnets of Halbach type is made with magnets of NdFeB type to reduce the thickness of the stator (), to increase the radius (R) of the rotor () so as to position all the conductors () on the periphery of the body () of the rotor () on one and the same layer at a diameter of maximum value.

Rotating electrical machine, for starter

A method for determining the position at rest of a rotor of a machine having at least one excitation winding. The invention provides a technique for detecting the position of the rotor at rest, from information contained in the voltages produced at the terminals of the stator windings, when the voltage applied to the rotor winding undergoes variations. The invention thus makes it possible to detect the rest position of the wound-rotor machine in the absence of ordinary position sensors such as magnetic, optical, resolving, mechanical, capacitive or other sensors.

Method for determining the position of a rotor of a synchronous machine having at least one excitation winding

A method for driving a power bridge () which is used for controlling a multiphase electric load (), is connectable to said electric load () through several arms and is drivable by switching functions determining control vectors for controlling the load, wherein said control vectors are subdivided into the free wheel control vectors and active control vectors. The inventive method is characterized in that it comprises the use of a switching function production method which produced a reduced number of switching function combinations corresponding to the free wheel control vectors for producing a sequence of the control vectors.

Method for controlling a polyphase voltage inverter

A method for driving a power bridge () which is used for controlling a multiphase electric load (), connectable to said electric load () via several arms and drivable by switching functions which determine free wheel controlling vectors and are active for controlling the load. The inventive method consists in selecting a first switching function production method which produces a reduced number of combinations of switching functions corresponding to the free wheel control vectors or a second switching function production method which produces combinations of switching functions corresponding only to the active control vectors, wherein said method are defined according to a given reference voltage vector and in applying said selected for producing a sequence of control vectors from the produced combinations of switching functions.

Polyphase voltage converter control method

The present invention relates to a method for controlling a polyphase voltage inverter the inverter being designed to control a load in terms of pulse width modulation and to be connected upstream to a voltage source via a DC bus and downstream to an electrical load. It is connected to a control logic which implements said method. A geometric structure is produced while taking account of the constraints downstream and upstream of the inverter. More particularly, an upstream constraint relates to the voltage of the supply source at the input of the inverter. An error vector is also produced.
