A transmission member includes a driving shaft (60) actuated by a control shaft (9), and a driven shaft (3) driven in rotation by a plate (61) provided with a driving thread and a driven thread. The driving shaft is provided with a thread that engages in the driving thread of the plate and the driven shaft is provided with a thread that engages in the driven thread of the plate.

An electricity station for coupling at least one air-insulated electric line to output feedthroughs from at least one set of three-phase busbars via, in particular, section switches and circuit breakers, the station being characterized in that the circuit breakers (5, 6) are of conventional type, the section switches (71, 72, 81, 82) are of telescopic type, and at least one set of busbars (3, 4) is of the metal-clad type including a sheath containing dielectric gas under pressure.

Electricity station

A zero latching force energy storage device has a first rod (10) sliding along an axis X and subjected to axial thrust from a first spring (17), with the first rod (10) being fixed at a first end to latching means and being coupled at a second end to energy storage means. The latching means include a rod (18) provided with a transverse bore (19) which, when in the set position, receives a latching member (100) controlled by an electromagnet (121). The energy storage means include a second rod (20) slidable along the same axis X and subjected to axial force from a second spring (34), with the free end of the second rod facing the free end of the first rod and being coupling to the first rod (10) and for locking it when the latching member (100) is in its set position.

Energy storage device with zero latching force

A circuit breaker actuator device of the type comprising an operating wheel (R) whose rotation drives the moving circuit-breaking members, said wheel being connected to a first spring (S'1) by a first chain (C1) passing over a first pulley (P1) and fixed to a first point (A1) close to the periphery of the wheel. The wheel is held fixed when the spring (S1) is under tension/compression by means of a retaining member (K1) which can be retracted to allow the wheel to rotate. The device further includes a second spring (S2) connected by a second chain (C2) passing over a second pulley (P2) and fixed to a second point (A2) on said wheel. The center of the wheel is situated, when both springs are under tension/compression, between the length of the first chain connecting the first point to the first pulley and the length of the second chain connecting the second point to the second pulley, with the second spring applying a force which is less than the force applied by the first spring.

Circuit breaker actuator device

A connector for electrical and mechanical connection to an overhead conductor (1) and for constituting the female portion of a telescopic isolating switch suitable for co-operating electrically with a male portion (6) of said switch. The connector includes the improvement whereby it comprises a plurality of metal conductors (17) which are curved and regularly disposed in such a manner as to define meridians of a substantially spherical surface, the top ends of said conductors being fixed to a metal block (2A-2B) which is electrically connected and mechanically fixed to said overhead conductor. The bottom ends of said curved metal conductors each include a rectilinear portion (7A) which is inclined relative to the vertical in such a manner as to define an inlet cone for the male connector portion, followed by a hairpin bend portion having two arms, one of which serves as a contact finger for making electrical contact with the male connector portion.

Apparatus for winding and unwinding a flexible rod, said apparatus including a drum (20) on which the rod (9) is wound, said drum being disposed between two parallel plates (32, 33) and being mounted on a shaft (21) set in spherical bearings (24), said shaft (21) forming an angle of two to eight degrees with the perpendicular to the plane of the drum, the periphery of said drum having a groove which defines, with a band (43) surrounding the end surface of the drum, a volume (44) enclosing the rod, said volume having a rectangular cross-section whose small side is slightly larger than the diameter of the rod. The apparatus has application to driving the components of a telescopic disconnector switch.

Apparatus for winding and unwinding a flexible rod

The invention concerns an electric power substation for use at very high voltages. The substation comprises a circuit-breaker (4) connected to a busbar (29) by a vertical isolating switch (15), the projection (31) on the floor plane (1) of the live components (19) of the isolating switch not intersecting that (34) of the circuit-breaker and lying wholly within a circle whose diameter is less than thirty percent of the opening distance (32) of the isolating switch, said components being for the most part located above the circuit-breaker. Application to substations for use at voltages of 245 kilovolts and above.
