A Combined evaporator and mixer for evaporating a liquid, particularly water, and mixing with a gas, particularly natural gas, including a housing and at least one individual mixing-evaporation module having exhaust gas openings at two of its ends.

The plate heat exchanger and method for manufacturing a plate heat exchanger comprise a stack of heat transfer plates, with first and second flow channels arranged between the plates. Pairs of heat transfer plates form cells. A cell comprises inner spacing elements arranged between the heat transfer plates leaving open a first inlet opening and a first outlet opening for the one of the fluids. The cell also comprises outer spacing elements welded to the heat transfer plates on the sides of the heat transfer plates facing away from each other. The cells are stacked against each other and joined together by welding via the outer spacing elements. The plate heat exchanger further comprises cover plates for covering sides of the stack of heat transfer plates with interruption for an inlet port section formed by the first inlet openings and an outlet port section formed by the first outlet openings. The two first sides of the cell comprising the first inlet opening or the first outlet opening comprise leakage passageways provided between the heat transfer plates for the one of the fluids, in addition to the passages provided by the first inlet opening and the first outlet opening.

Plate heat exchanger and method for manufacturing a plate heat exchanger

A fuel cell unit with a plurality of fuel cells defining a longitudinal axis and a main flow direction coaxial to the longitudinal axis. Fuel cell inlets and fuel cell outlets are arranged at opposite ends of the fuel cell unit and in line with the main flow direction. Also, a component comprising first fluid conduits arranged parallel to the main flow direction, the first fluid conduits comprising first fluid inlets and first fluid outlets arranged at opposite ends of the component and in line with the main flow direction. The component is arranged adjacent the fuel cell unit such that at least one of the first fluid inlets and the first fluid outlets of the component are arranged adjacent at least one of the fuel cell outlets and the fuel cell inlets such that a fluid flow may flow substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the apparatus in the first fluid conduits of the component and in the fuel cell unit and when passing from the component to the fuel cell unit or vice versa.

A combined heat exchanging and fluid mixing apparatus including a first conduit () for guiding a cool fluid through the first conduit and a second conduit () for guiding a hot gas through the second conduit. A heat conductive element () is arranged between the first conduit () and the second conduit () for transferring heat from the hot gas to the cool fluid. The apparatus further includes a third conduit () for guiding an exhaust fluid. The third conduit () comprises an exhaust fluid inlet () for introducing an exhaust fluid into the apparatus for mixing of the exhaust fluid with the hot gas and for a chemical reaction of the so formed exhaust fluid/hot gas mixture in the second conduit ().

A heat recovery component for an exhaust gas system comprises: The valve comprises separate first and second valve flaps fixedly arranged on a shaft and extending in a plane defined by the first and second inlet axes and perpendicular to the first and second inlet axes. The first valve flap is arranged at an axial location on the shaft corresponding to the location of the first inlet, and the second valve flap is arranged at an axial location corresponding to the second inlet. The valve flaps are arranged angularly rotated relative to one another about the shaft.

The separator restricts a fluid flow into or in the cavity () such as to limit a heat exchange between the further conduit () and the respective cool or hot conduit on the same side of the heat exchanging element ().

Multi-flow heat exchanger for exchanging heat between cool fluid and hot fluid

A unit for recovering thermal energy from exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine including an inlet, an outlet, a heat exchanger arranged downstream of the inlet and upstream of the outlet, and a valve capable of being switched between a recovery position. The exhaust gas flows from the inlet through the heat exchanger to the outlet, and a bypass position, in which the exhaust gas flows from the inlet through a bypass to the outlet. The valve includes separate first and second valve bodies and associated separate first and second valve seats arranged upstream and downstream of the heat exchanger, respectively. The first and second valve bodies are adapted to be switched only simultaneously from the recovery position to the bypass position and vice versa.
