Ski boot of the overlapping type, including a rigid shell base surmounted by an upper, the upper including in its front portion an upward extension of the shell base, and in its rear portion, a rigid rear spoiler journalled with respect to the shell base, and a tightening arrangement being distributed along the front surface of the boot, whereas the control arrangement for the position of advance are arranged between the shell base and the upper, wherein at least one element of the tightening arrangement is located in the zone of the flexion fold directly on the shell base, and whereas the top of the upper that tightens the lower part of the leg of the skier is provided with another tightening arrangement fixed at the front upper end of the rear spoiler encircling the front upper zone of the extension of the shell base.

Ski boot

Comfort sock designed to be arranged inside the shell of a sports boot, such as a ski boot. The sock (1) incorporates a one-piece structure comprising a foot covering (6) with a vamp (7) and an upper (8), a reinforcement (13), and at least one comfort support liner (11) independent of the covering (6) and connected to the reinforcement (13) of pivoting-sliding connections (16). This support liner (11) is arranged opposite an elastic area (9) of the foot covering (6), against which it comes into close contact at the time of closure of the shell of the boot in which the sock (1) is positioned.

A rear-entry alpine ski boot whose shell base (1), surmounted by an upper (2) incorporating a rear cover (3) and a cuff (4), comprises a front cover (5) for closing an upper opening (6) provided in the boot. The front cover (5) is flexible and is suspended between a front point of support (14) and a rear point of support (16), and an area of overlap (8) of the front cover (5) with the cuff (4) is located above the area corresponding to the flexible bend of the skier's foot and in association with the position (H) of the axis of articulation of the cuff (4) on the shell base (1).

The invention is related to alpine ski boot including a rigid shell base overlaid by an upper that has a front portion and a rear portion, the latter being at least partially pivotal with respect to the shell base and including a latching and unlatching device with respect to the shell base, accessible from the exterior of the boot via a control member, the latching position of the latter, corresponding to an initial adjustable reference advance position, from which the upper is capable of an angular clearance along an amplitude predetermined with respect to the shell base. The latching and unlatching device includes a multi-position member capable of being displaced angularly about a longitudinal axis (X-X') of the shell base in a corresponding coaxial housing arranged in the rear portion thereof, and includes a plurality of orifices radially off-centered with respect to its virtual center, such that one of these orifices, chosen as a function of the initial desired advance of the upper, can be brought into a vertical axis to coincide with a latching finger affixed to the upper.

A ski boot having a liner, the liner including a body overlaid by a rear wedge associated to a portion of upper of boot and a front wedge associated to another portion of the upper. The front and rear wedges of the liner cooperate with respect to each other to ensure the closure of the introduction opening of the foot of the skier and define between them, at least two mutually straddling lateral zones which respectively extend along a predetermined length, and whose positioning is guaranteed along an irreversible direction by at least one extensible connection element, acting elastically between the wedges in the manner of a deflector, along converging forces tending to bring them closer to one another, permanently, towards an initial closure position of liner.

An alpine ski boot having a shell base on which is journalled at least partially an upper constituted of at least one rear spoiler and a front cuff, the rear spoiler being journalled with respect to the shell base about a transverse axis and including a tensioning lever acting in traction on at least one flexible and inextensible link inserted between a front mobile portion of the boot to be controlled during tightening on a portion of the lower part of the leg or foot and the lever, such lever acting also on an element for reclaiming rear support of the upper on shell base wherein the element for reclaiming rear support is constituted by at least one second flexible and inextensible link, distinct from the first, inserted between the same tensioning lever and a fixed portion of the shell base, such that the latching action of the tensioning lever causes, by a simultaneous traction on the two links, both tightening control of the front mobile portion of the boot so as to fulfill a first function, and the reclaiming of rear support of the upper on the shell base, without an intermediate element, so as to fulfill a second function.

Device for blocking an upper of a ski boot

A ski boot includes a shell base having an overlying upper, the upper including a front portion and a rear portion journalled with respect to the shell base about a transverse axis, so as to enable pivoting of the rear portion of the upper towards the rear at the opening of the boot. The rear portion of the upper is connected to the front portion by tightening and closure elements, whereas the shell base includes two lateral wings extending upwardly, to which a linkage is connected, linking them to the rear portion of the upper where a traction element of the linkage is located.

Alpine ski boot

An alpine ski boot having an arrangement for reclaiming rear support of the upper and tightening of the collar on the lower part of the leg, constituted by a link forming a dual circuit and by a latchable tensioning lever. The flexible connection describes a circuit originating from a strap of the collar constituting a mobile attachment point of one end of the link, which is thereafter freely connected to the tensioning lever, by which it transits, to be thereafter fixed by its other end on a portion of the collar constituting a fixed attachment point, from which the intermediate tensioning lever exerts a traction on the other end of the link simultaneously causing a tightening action on the strap and a latching action of the element for reclaiming rear support and vice versa.

Internal liner for insertion between the lower part of the leg and the foot of a skier and a shell of a sports boot such as an alpine ski boot, such liner including a vamp enveloping the foot which is overlaid by an upper enveloping the lower part of the leg and constituted by a rear portion and a front portion respectively forming a rear wedge and a front wedge joined to constitute a wall having a given thickness adapted to play an adjusting role for the footwear between the internal surface of the shell of the boot and the lower part of the leg, wherein it is constituted by a sock extending uniformly and without folds, and having, at least in one stretchable zone, a plurality of distinct and juxtaposed wedging elements fixed externally thereon to constitute the wall of the liner having a given thickness and compressibility.

Ski boot liner

A ski boot, preferably of the rear entry type, having a shell base on which an upper is journalled around an axis. The upper preferably extends towards the rear through two lateral extensions on which the rear spoiler is journalled. The boot includes an inextensible linkage which connect the ends of the axis, while being in contact with the rear spoiler over at least one point spaced from the journal thereof on the shell base. Further, a tensioning device is connected to the linkage which ensures the closure of the boot.

A rear-entry ski boot having a lower shell above which an upper is mounted which includes a rear spoiler which is pivotally mounted on the lower shell to facilitate the insertion and removal of the skier's foot. The boot additionally includes a removable heel portion affixed in place by a connection on the extreme rear end of the sole of the boot. The lower shell of the boot is open rearwardly, i.e., the two sidewalls are not joined at the rear of the sole of the boot and the releasable heel portion extends upwardly by an upper curved part which acts as a seal with the concave side facing forwardly and the upper curved part to be applied on the rear opening of the lower shell that is bounded by the upper edges of its sidewalls by overlapping the skier's heel rearwardly and by providing continuity in the lower shell to the rear.

Rear-entry ski boot

The present invention relates to an alpine ski boot of the rear entry type. In this tightening boot at least the rear portion of the upper is pivotably mounted around a first horizontal and transverse axis, on a stirrup surrounding the rear of the shell base and which is itself pivotably mounted on the shell base around a second horizontal and transverse axis positioned at a level lower then that of the first axis, the stirrup carries, in its rear central portion, a latching element of the stirrup in the raised position for skiing, this element being positioned in a manner so as to be activated by the tightening lever of the foot, when this lever is pressed against the rear of the upper in the tightening position.

Rear entry ski boot

An alpine ski boot having includes a shell base and an upper journalled at least in one part on the shell base. Between the upper and the shell base a support is provided, itself being journalled on the shell base about a generally horizontal and transverse axis. The upper is journalled on the support about an axis separate from the aforementioned axis. Further, the boot includes a latching device to immobilize the support and, consequently, the journal axis of the upper on the support in a first upper position for skiing and to free the support, during removal, so as to permit a pivoting of the support with respect to the base, about its axis, towards a second lower position, leading to a displacement towards the rear, and possibly downwardly, of the journal axis of the upper on the support.

An arrangement for retaining a skier's foot within the shell base of a ski boot, comprising one or more tongues integral with the inner sides of the shell base, extending transversely to the longitudinal axis of the boot and at least partly surrounding the top of the foot. The tongues fold down along a drop line in a plane above the heads of the metatarsals and the malleoli, and are located between two planes secant to the plane of the boot sole and passing through the heads of these bones. Actuation of the tongues relative to the foot takes place from outside the boot.
