This guiding rail (5) comprises at least in its part for guiding a slidable element comprising a bolt cooperating with a safety belt buckle, two lateral guiding portions (5b, 5c) for the displacement of the slidable element. These two portions are disposed on each side of a slot (5d) through which the bolt projects. This rail is also formed by a bearing portion (5a) for the slidable element disposed in facing relation to said slot. These lateral portions (5b, 5c) and this bearing portion (5a) are in the shape of semi-circular lobes.

The safety belt winder comprises a base (1) in which is rotatively mounted a strap-carrying reel (4), a strap-return spring device (28), and safety and locking means for the belt (S) responsive to a sudden pulling force exerted on the belt. The base (1) has a tubular shape and the reel (4) is rotatively mounted inside this base and journalled in end side walls (18, 30) mounted on the base and carrying respectively the return spring device (28) and the safety and locking means (10, 15, 16, 17).

The locking member (5) is mounted inside the said body (4) so as to oscillate and be displaceable between a position where the said latch is locked and a position where the latter is released and has at its ends means intended to co-operate with stopping surfaces of the body (4) and of the latch via the action of a destabilizing device (16).
