The invention relates to a dried emulsion. In particular, the invention relates to a dried emulsion containing a liquid hydrophobic phase and a water-soluble or water-dispersible polymeric matrix whose hydrophobic phase content is high. The invention also relates to a method for producing the dried emulsion and to uses of this emulsion. The utilized water-soluble matrix contains block copolymers.

The invention concerns a method for preparing a multiple emulsion comprising an invert emulsion consisting of an internal aqueous phase dispersed in an internal organic phase, dispersed in an external aqueous phase: the internal aqueous phase comprising optionally at least a hydrophilic active substance; the internal organic phase comprising optionally at least a hydrophobic active substance; the invert emulsion comprising at least an internal surfactant and/or at least an internal amphiphilic polymer; the external aqueous phase comprising optionally at least a hydrophilic active substance and at least an external surfactant and/or an external amphiphilic polymer.

The invention concerns a method for emulsifying, without grinding, a silicone in water in the presence of a surfactant, at a temperature less than 60&deg; C. and under shearing at less than 100 s , comprising steps which consist in: a) preparing a primary oil-in-water emulsion including said surfactant and said silicone under shearing at less than 100 s , by adding an aqueous phase to an oily phase comprising said silicone; b) enriching the resulting emulsion with an enriching oily phase comprising said silicone by mixing, under shearing at less than 100 s , and c) if required, repeating one or several times the operation at step b) until the desired concentration in surfactant and/or silicone in the final emulsion is obtained and/or until the desired particle size distribution is obtained.

The invention concerns a composition comprising: 10 to 80 wt. % of at least an emulsion in water of a linear polydimethylsiloxane having a viscosity ranging between 1 and 5000 mPa.s at 25&deg; C., the emulsion particles having a size of not more than 1 &mgr;m; and 1 to 50 wt. % of at least an inorganic agent; the complement for reaching 100 wt. % being an aqueous medium.

The present invention relates to novel derivatives of terpene origin which consist of cycloalkenyls or cycloalkyls having at least seven carbon atoms and possessing surfactant and/or fragrant properties. Derivatives of terpene origin, surfactant and/or fragrant composition

The present invention relates to novel derivatives of terpene origin which consist of cycloalkenyls or cycloalkyls having at least seven carbon atoms and possessing surfactant and/or fragrant properties. According to one embodiment, the invention relates to compounds of the formula ##STR1## in which p and q are integers or decimal numbers and are not equal to zero, O&lt;P&lt;20, preferably, O&lt;P&lt;5, and O&lt;q&lt;100, preferably 1&lt;q&lt;20. Cosmetic compositions comprising aqueous emulsions of organopolysiloxanes

The present invention relates to new plant-protection suspo-emulsions. More specifically, the invention relates to a suspo-emulsion of a solid active substance, having a melting point greater than or equal to 45.degree. C. and which is substantially insoluble in water. The suspo-emulsion comprises at least one oil; a first surface-active system comprising at least sucroglycerides; the solid active substance; and either (A) a nonionic or anionic surface-active agent, or (B) a second surface-active system containing sucroglycerides and at least one compound selected from the group consisting of an alkoxylated triglyceride, an alkoxylated fatty acid, a sorbitan ester, and an alkoxylated sorbitan ester, and optionally a phospholipid.
