Aspects of the disclosure relate to a package, a carton () for packaging one or more articles and a blank () for forming the carton (). The carton () comprises a wall having an outer panel (A,B;) and an inner panel (A,B,A,B;A,B,A,B) at least partially overlapping the outer panel (A,B;). The inner panel (A,B,A,B;A,B,A,B) comprises a cutaway (R; A) defining at least in part a passage between the outer panel (A,B;) and an article B. The package comprises an adhesive bond between the outer panel (A,B;) and the article B, the adhesive bond extends through the passage.

Carton and carton blank

The disclosure relates to an article-engaging carrier for packaging one or more articles and a blank for forming the carrier. The carrier comprises a top panel () with at least one article-engaging feature (RTRT). At least one shoulder panel (is hingedly connected to the top panel and is disposed obliquely with respect to the top panel. The at least one engaging feature comprises an article—receiving aperture (A-A) and an annular series of engaging tabs formed around the article-receiving aperture. The annular series of engaging tabs comprises at least one first tab (B) and at least one second tab (C). The at least one first tab is hingedly connected in part to the top panel and in part to the at least one shoulder panel. The at least one first tab has a first radial length (LT). The at least one second tab is hingedly connected only to the top panel and has a second radial length (LT). The first radial length is greater than the second radial length.

Article carrier and blank therefor

Aspects of the disclosure relate to an article carrier for packaging one or more articles and a blank for forming the carrier. The article carrier () comprises a plurality of top-engaging openings or engaging structures RT, RT, RTS each having an annular series of engaging teeth or tabs () along the perimeter of that opening. The annular series of engaging tabs () of each opening is interrupted by at most two gaps (A,B). A notional diametrical line z-z′ passes through the center of each of the at most two gaps (A,B) and extends substantially perpendicular to the grain direction GR of paper material from which the article carrier () is formed.

Aspects of the disclosure relate to a carton for packaging one or more articles, and a blank for forming said carton. The carton comprising a plurality of primary panelsat least partially extending around an interior of the carton, the plurality of primary panels comprising a top paneland a pair of side panelshingedly connected to opposed side edges of the top panel respectively, wherein the carrier further comprises an end closure structurewhich partially closes an end of the carrier, the end closure structure comprises a top end closure panelhingedly connected to an end edge of the top panel and at least one anchor panelhingedly connected to an end edge of at least one of the pair of side panels.

The wrap-around carrier of the invention includes opposed side panels hingedly connected to a top panel and to a pair of bottom flaps. An end retention structure is connected to at least one of the side panels and to the adjacent one of the bottom flaps. The end retention structure includes an anchor panel hingedly connected to an end edge of the one side panel and disposed in a face-contacting relationship with the inside surface of the one side panel, a gusset panel hingedly connected to the anchor panel and extending toward the adjacent end opening of the carrier, and an end panel hingedly connected to the gusset panel and disposed to engage the adjacent end article packaged in the carrier to prevent it from dislodging form the carrier. The end retention structure further includes a relief panel that hingedly interconnects the end panel with the one bottom flap. The relief panel is disposed in the plane of the one bottom flap when the carrier is in an erected condition. When the carrier is in blank form, however, the relief panel is capable of folding with respect to the one bottom flap in response to folding of the anchoring panel onto the one side panel.

Article carrier having automatic end retention means

An article carrier and a blank for forming an article carrier for holding a plurality of articles, for example bottles. The carrier comprises a plurality of wall panels for forming a tubular structure. The wall panels include a pair of side wall panels, one of which is provided with a reinforcing tab hingedly connected thereto along an article-retaining edge of a first aperture for receiving an article. The reinforcing tab is folded to underlie the one side wall panel to provide a two-ply structure adjacent the article-retaining edge.

A sleeve and a blank for forming a sleeve for holding information discs, for example compact discs or the like includes a back panel, a partition panel foldably connected to one of the side edges of the back panel, and a front panel foldably connected to the bottom edge of the back panel. The partition panel is folded and disposed over the back panel to define a first disc pocket between the back panel and the partition panel. The front panel is folded and disposed over the partition panel to define a second disc pocket between the partition panel and the front panel as well as to provide a closed bottom for both the first and second disc pockets.

A multi-sleeve booklet for holding flat objects includes a plurality of sleeves joined in series and folded upon each other in an accordion fashion, and a spine panel forming a spine of the booklet and hingedly interconnecting all the sleeves together. Each sleeve has a pair of front and back panels hingedly connected together. The front and back panels are secured in face to face contacting relationship while the spine panel is joined to one of the opposed outermost sleeves and secured to the other of the outermost sleeves.
