Composite-structure rotor for axial flow electrical machines comprising at least one stator and a rotor rigidly connected to a shaft to be rotated, in the shape of a disc and comprising a plurality of permanent magnets supported by a support made of a composite material rigidly connected to the shaft to be driven and constituted by a reinforced fibre matrix. The rotor comprises distributed attachment means for the radial elements and segments, which connect the elements in pairs, forming recesses, and which comprise at least one strap resulting from the winding of continuous unidirectional fibres passing between the Composite-structure rotor for axial flow electrical machines comprising at least one stator and a rotor rigidly connected to a shaft to be rotated, in the shape of a disc and comprising a plurality of permanent magnets supported by a support made of a composite material rigidly connected to the shaft to be driven and constituted by a reinforced fibre matrix. A connector assembly includes a generally L-shaped fitting with a first mounting portion having a mounting hole(s), a second mounting portion extending generally angled to the first mounting portion and having a mounting hole(s) and a joint portion integrally connecting the two mounting portions. The joint portion has a load section(s) defined between a concave surface section extending between inner surfaces of the first and second mounting portions and a convex surface section extending between outer surfaces of the first and second mounting portions, the load section concave surface section having a radius of curvature. A washer has an outer perimeter surface with a section having a partially spherical profile and is sized such that the spherical surface section is disposed against the joint load section concave surface so that the washer exerts force generally against the joint load section when the washer is clamped to the second mounting portion.

The invention relates to an angle bracket including a composite material for connecting parts. The angle bracket has two wings forming an angle along a longitudinal folding axis and coupling regions on the outside of the fold. The coupling regions attach to parts to be connected, and is associated with a securing means. At least in the longitudinal direction, the angle bracket has at least one succession of domed sections with a concave or convex profile on the inside and/or outside of the fold, providing the bracket with a corrugated form in the longitudinal direction.

A transmission shaft for transmitting rotational movements including a tubular body having at least one tubular composite assembly including a plastic matrix and strengthening elements, at least one insert positioned at one end of the body and which is secured to the body in an interface area between the insert and the composite assembly, and at least one slug passing radially through the insert and the body for keeping the strengthening elements in place. The at least one insert has at least one recess receiving a part of the strengthening elements to maintain the strengthening elements in the interface area.

Each preform includes at least one opening or protruding structure which is substantially complementary to the structure of the other preform. A rotary torque shaft including a tube made of a composite material having a plastic matrix and a metallic tubular insert fixedly mounted around a recessed longitudinal outer surface portion of the tube so as to link the tube mechanically to a functional mechanical assembly which is supported by the insert. The insert has in cross section a non-circular inner surface profile which is complementary in shape to a profile of the outer surface of the tube.
