Electrostatic collector

An electrostatic collector is provided, including a collection chamber, delimited by a tubular wall, and a support holding an electrode in position in the collection chamber and for removing it from the collection chamber, the support including a guide, passing transversally through the collection chamber, the first and second ends of which are fixed to the wall, the guide including a through opening configured to hold the electrode; a first attachment element, including at least one electrically conducting part, that will extend at least partly in the guide, from the first end towards the opening; and a second attachment element, including at least one electrically insulating part, that can move in translation in the guide from the second end towards the opening and from the opening towards the second end.

An electrostatic collection device of particles in suspension in a gas including a collecting chamber with a collecting wall, part of which forms a collecting electrode. The collecting electrode faces a discharge electrode in the form of a wire, so as to create a corona discharge between the discharge electrode and the collecting electrode, the collecting wall extends to the periphery of the discharge electrode. The discharge electrode is maintained at a first end by a first holder and at the second end by a second holder, both holders made of electrically insulating material(s). At least one traversal wall protrudes from the collecting wall, and has a shape adapted to deflect the path of a liquid present in the gas and flowing on the collecting wall to the transversal wall such that it does not come into contact with the second holder.

Electrostatic collection device of particles in suspension in a gaseous environment

The present invention relates to a device for the vaporization of a liquid, said device comprising: a reservoir capable of containing a liquid to be vaporized, a heating element capable of heating the liquid in order to vaporize the liquid, a capillary pump capable of pumping the liquid contained in said reservoir to said heating element by capillary pumping, and a capillary barrier arranged along a capillary pumping direction of the liquid to be vaporized downstream from the capillary pump, said capillary barrier being capable of preventing the non-vaporized liquid from escaping from the device.

A device for collecting particles in air comprising a collecting chamber (), a capillary tube () whereof one end () terminates in the chamber (), a collecting electrode, the capillary tube () containing polarisable liquid. Sufficient difference in voltage is applied between the liquid and the collecting electrode () for a corona effect between the drop of liquid at the end of the capillary tube () and the collecting electrode () and the spraying of the drop () by electrospray. Electrostatic collecting system for suspended particles in a gaseous medium

The present invention provides a method of measuring the flow rate of an electrically conductive liquid in laminar flow and to an implementation measurement device that are easy to implement, simple to produce and compact. For this purpose, the invention provides a device for measuring the flow rate, comprising: a channel (); a pair of electrodes (-); and at least one device () for measuring the voltage (V) between the electrodes (-) of said pair, an electrical double layer forming at the interface of each electrode with the conducting liquid. The device comprises means () designed so that, when the conducting liquid is flowing through the channel, the flow velocity fields in the diffuse layers facing each electrode are different and so that the convective/diffusive charge equilibria of the electrical double layer at the interface of each electrode are different.

Method of measuring the flow rate of a liquid flowing in a fluidic channel and implementation device

The invention concerns a microfluidic device for the controlled movement of liquid. The controlled-movement device according to the invention comprises a microchannel () filled with a first liquid (F) and a fluid (F) forming a first interface (I) with the first liquid (F), or forming a first interface (I) with the first liquid (F) and a second interface (I) with a second liquid (F) situated downstream of said fluid (F), and means of moving the first liquid (F) by electrowetting. A control system is provided for controlling the movement of the first liquid (F) according to the position of an interface (I, 1) of the fluid (F).
