A connecting system for a ring terminal for a baseplate of a terminal block comprises holding means for the terminal, and a clamping device configured to clamp the ring terminal once the ring terminal is held. The connecting system is configured such that the ring terminal bearing against at least one of the holding means generates a relative gap of the holding means with respect to each other, and then to move the holding means closer to each other, under the bias of a spring member when the holding means are located facing the ring of the terminal, so as to hold the ring terminal.

A system including a base and a module to be inserted into this base, an electric relay to electrically disconnect the module from the base, and a blocking device that can change over from a blocking state to a release state. The system including a sensor to detect the presence of the module in the base and a blocking sensor to detect the state of the blocking device, and means for opening the relay as soon as the blocking device is released or as soon as the module is not present. The blocking device can leave its released state only when the module has been extracted from the base by a distance more than the detection distance of the presence sensor.

The invention relates to a method of detecting an internal arc in a metal-clad electrical link, wherein the rising edge of the internal pressure surge generated by the arc and propagating inside the cladding is detected at a fixed location along the cladding. The invention also relates to a device comprising at least one one-way detection unit constituted by a pressure sensor disposed outside the cladding and connected to the inside the cladding via a horn-shaped duct which slopes relative to the axis of the cladding, which has its mouth opening out in the cladding, and which has its tip connected to the pressure sensor.

A high voltage electrical disconnector that has a moving contact that moves at high speed comprises a moving first contact which is mounted to move along an axial direction relative to a fixed second contact, and which co-operates therewith to establish an electrical connection, and a rod extending along said axial direction and which is driven to move the first contact relative to the second contact. The first contact is a hollow tube in which there slides a piston mounted on the rod. A first spring is interposed between the moving contact and a first end of the piston, and a second spring is interposed between moving contact and a second end of the piston. A first locking system is provided to prevent the moving contact from moving during a closure operation while the first spring is simultaneously being compressed, the first locking system retracting after the first spring has been compressed by a certain amount so that the moving contact is connected to the fixed contact under the effect of the first spring relaxing. A second locking system is provided to prevent the moving contact from moving during an opening operation while the second spring is being compressed by the piston, said second locking system retracting after the second spring has been compressed by a certain amount so that the moving contact is disconnected from the fixed contact under the effect of the second spring relaxing.

A method of measuring the density of a dielectric gas under pressure in a buried metal-clad electricity line consists in measuring the pressure and the temperature of the dielectric gas by means of a sensor mounted on the case of the line, and in compensating the pressure measurement as a function of the temperature measurement using constant density curves that have been corrected on the basis of a curve representing the difference between the temperature at the surface of the case of the line and the mean temperature of the gas inside the line for increasing amounts of current carried by the line conductor.

The 4 mA-20 mA type or 0-20 mA type current loop connects an analog sensor ( ) to an acquisition system ( ), respectively carrying a sensor current (Ic) and an acquisition current (Ia). A test circuit is connected in parallel with the current loop to inject a superposition current (Is) into said loop, which current is superposed on the sensor current (Ic) or on the acquisition current (Ia). In a first embodiment, a variable voltage generator ( ) injects the superposition current (Is) by adding it to the acquisition current (Ia), thereby making it possible to check a low-current threshold of the acquisition system ( ). In a second embodiment, a variable current regulator injects the superposition current (Is) by adding it to the sensor current (Ic), thereby making it possible to check a high-current threshold of the acquisition system. The high- and low-current thresholds of the acquisition system are tested without opening the current loop.
