A sport boot that can be converted to adapt to a variety of sports, especially gliding sports. The sole of the boot is constituted of an irremovable base affixed to the shell, and on which front and rear vertical retention zones are obtained, on the one hand, and of front and rear sole portions that are distinct, interchangeable and complementary to the sole base to which they adapt to constitute the tip and the heel, respectively, and being selected by the user among at least two sets of front and rear sole portions whose profiles and dimensional characteristics are capable of allowing, relative to the front and rear zones for the axial retention of the fixed base and complementarily with the latter, to recontitute and adapt a sole from the same boot, conforming to one binding standard or another.

Sport boot having a sole adaptable to multiple standards

A sports boot with a rigid shell, having an upper that can be opened along the front and being connected via lateral journals to a shell base and that is blocked in its rearward pivoting by its lower edge that becomes supported along an edge of the shell base. A scalloping in the shape of an inverted 'U' is provided in the lower edge of the upper in the extension of the dorsal zone thereof in order to weaken it at this spot and to reduce the bearing length of its lower edge along the edge of the shell base. At least one removable cam is capable of being actuated within the scalloping in order to stop any rearward elastic deformation of the upper.

Sports boot

An alpine ski boot having a shell base on which an upper is journalled. The upper includes a rear spoiler that is pivotally mounted about a transverse axis located at the rear portion of the shell base. The boot also includes a stirrup that is journalled on the shell base in the area of the ankle. The stirrup extends to the area of the heel, where it is connected to the rear spoiler, forming a connection with the rear spoiler, with respect to the shell base.

Rear entry ski boot

Device for opening and closing a rear-entry ski boot, by simultaneous rotation of front and rear portions of the upper without raising the front portion. The rear portion rotates on the shell base about a hinge pin, and the front portion about a pivot axis at the front end of the shell base. The front and rear portions are joined to each other by a pin-and-slot connection located in overlapping extensions of these elements.

Device for opening and closing a ski boot

A ski boot, preferably of the rear-entry type, including an upper portion selectively movable between an open position and a closed position. A control element, such as a cable, is included which can be associated with an arrangement for maintaining the foot or lower leg relatively fixed within the boot, or an arrangement for modifying the flexion of the boot. An arrangement is provided for tensioning the control element, in response to movement of an upper portion of the boot toward a closed position, which is mechanically independent of an arrangement for maintaining the tension in the control element.

Downhill ski boot

An alpine ski boot having includes a shell base and an upper journalled at least in one part on the shell base. Between the upper and the shell base a support is provided, itself being journalled on the shell base about a generally horizontal and transverse axis. The upper is journalled on the support about an axis separate from the aforementioned axis. Further, the boot includes a latching device to immobilize the support and, consequently, the journal axis of the upper on the support in a first upper position for skiing and to free the support, during removal, so as to permit a pivoting of the support with respect to the base, about its axis, towards a second lower position, leading to a displacement towards the rear, and possibly downwardly, of the journal axis of the upper on the support.

Rear-entry ski boot

A rear-entry ski boot having a rigid shell and an upper constituted by a front cuff and a rear spoiler, and system for fastening and adjusting the boot on the lower leg of the skier. The upper includes a central sleeve journalled on the shell base and having a front opening and a rear opening defined by the two lateral walls of the upper part; a rear spoiler journalled on the sleeve and adapted to close the rear opening of the sleeve; and a front cuff journalled on a lower front zone of the sleeve and adapted to close the front opening of the sleeve. With the construction of the ski boot, the upper is made adjustable to more effectively support the skier's lower leg. Various latching mechanisms and locking mechanisms are also provided.

Alpine ski boot

Ski boot comprised of a rigid shell at least partially surmounted by an upper (4) and at least one padding element (9) inside the boot intended to block the skier's foot. The boot comprises a blocking device (12) having a block (16, 16') extending from each side of the zone of the Achilles tendon into the hollow of the malleoli located above the protuberance of the calcaneum, and the block is attached to a block holder (14) provided with a height adjustment device (17, 17'), arranged along the median vertical axis of the back of the upper.
