A display mechanism a wheel carrying, constrained to rotate with it, a first wheel and a snail-shaped cam, the mechanism having an active first state in which the first wheel is driven in rotation by a driving wheel and a zero reset second state in which it is no longer driven to allow it to return to a predefined position, associated with a predefined position of the display member, the display mechanism further including a feeler-spindle adapted to cooperate with the perimeter of the cam, the feeler-spindle and the perimeter of the cam being adapted and sized so that the feeler-spindle exerts on the cam, in the second state, a return force having a non-radial component adapted to return the first wheel to its predefined position.

Display mechanism with zero reset function

A coupling system for a chronograph mechanism is presented. The system can include an input wheel intended to be driven by a drive member; an output wheel intended to drive at least one display member; an intermediate wheel continuously kinematically connected to the input wheel or the output wheel, where the intermediate wheel changes between a coupled state where the input wheel is kinematically connected to the output wheel and an uncoupled state where the kinematic connection is broken. The system also includes a first friction wheel constrained to rotate with the intermediate wheel and a second friction wheel constrained to rotate with either the input wheel and the output wheel; a first safety wheel constrained to rotate with said intermediate wheel that includes a first set of safety teeth; and a second safety wheel constrained to rotate with the second wheel that includes a second set of safety teeth.

Coupling system for a chronograph

A device for assembling and adjusting a balance spring, including a base joined to a balance bridge with an adjustable angular orientation, and having a bearing surface and a bearing plate adjacent to the bearing surface, both defining a service position of the end turn of the balance spring. A first arm extends from the base and bears a locking member for the end turn, the locking member being designed to keep the terminal coil in abutment against the bearing surface. A second arm of the device extends from the base and bears a shoe that is able to be arranged at a predefined distance from the bearing surface so as to cooperate with the end turn. A movable control member is able to act on the second arm in order to deform it elastically and move the shoe with respect to the base in order to free the end turn.

Device for assembling and adjusting a balance spring

A clock movement is provided that contains a constant force device. In accordance with one implementation, the clock movement includes a spiral spring, and a train, having a first kinematic chain arranged to connect a main energy source to a first end of the spiral spring and a second kinematic chain for connecting a time base to a second end of the spiral spring. One of the first and second kinematic chains may contain an adjustment mobile comprising first and second members connected to each other by a friction such that a rotation of one member drives the other member during routine working of the clock movement. One of these members may include an adjustment member having at least one bearing surface arranged such that it is possible to act upon the latter so as to rotate the adjustment member without rotating the other member by dint of friction, in order to adjust the load state of the spiral spring.

Clock movement containing a constant force device

A display mechanism for a clock movement for controlling the movements of a member for displaying at least one indication related to the time or to the operation of a timepiece, includes a cam having a periphery with a predetermined shape and driven by a base wheel, a lever pivotally mounted relative to a frame member of the movement, between an abutment position associated with an indication position of the display member, and a standby position associated with a predetermined alternative position of the display member. The lever bears a feeler intended for interaction with the periphery of the cam so as to define the abutment position, and the lever further bears a rake engaged with a pinion for driving the display member. An elastic element applies a force onto the lever for positioning it in the abutment position. The mechanism includes a mobile control member having at least a stable standby and a stable indication position.

Display mechanism for a timepiece enabling the current time to be displayed or not displayed

A timepiece, includes a frame supporting a drive element, a time base and drive trains pivotably mounted on the frame and arranged so as to drive at least one display train intended to carry an element displaying information, such as the time. The movement also includes a fixed gear, firmly attached to the frame, with which a toothed element of the display train is arranged to mesh, and a drive element having first and second kinematic links, respectively, with one of the drive trains and with the toothed element so as to drive the latter in translation in a first direction along the fixed gear. Preferably, the drive element is embodied in the form of a deformable element, and the movement also includes a retrograde mechanism for driving the toothed element rapidly in the opposite direction by means of the drive element.

Timepiece movement for driving a display element along a complex path and timepiece comprising such a movement

The invention concerns a gear for precision devices comprising at least two mutually co-operating toothed wheels (). The teeth () of the two wheels have the same thickness (e) and the teeth of one of them () are provided with a radial slot () which divides them into half-teeth (). On of said half-tooth () comprises a recess () enabling its elastic deformation in case of overloading.
