A novel composition including at least one styrene-block copolymer, at least one plasticiser, and particles of a cross-linked polymer having a carboxylate-group density between 2.0 and 12.0 meq/g and an average pore size between 0.005 and 1.0 &#x3bc;m, usable in particular for creating an elastomer matrix suitable for any device of the type device for medical aims such as a patch, a film, a strip or a dressing, preferably a dressing, intended to be applied onto the skin or suitable for any device of the functional textile type such as a sports item.

The present invention relates to an adherent interface dressing intended for application directly to a wound. The subject of the present invention is a composite wound packing material comprising a casing enclosing a material, or an assembly of materials, forming fluid flow channels, said casing being composed of a self-supporting interface material formed from a thin layer of a composition comprising a hydrophobic matrix and comprising through-holes, said hydrophobic matrix comprising, per 100 parts by weight of a styrene/saturated olefin/styrene triblock copolymer having a viscosity of between 0.2 and 2 Pa&#xb7;s, as measured in a 10% (weight/weight) solution in toluene, from 400 to 1220 parts by weight of a plasticizer, preferably a plasticizing oil, and from 0 to 720 parts by weight of petroleum jelly, it being specified, moreover, that the total amount of plasticizer and petroleum jelly is greater than or equal to 750 parts by weight and the amount of petroleum jelly is between 400 and 720 parts by weight when the amount of plasticizer is between 1000 and 1220 parts by weight.

Aqueous dispersion of polymer particles, film-forming composition containing same and uses thereof

The invention relates to an absorbent dressing comprising an adhesive silicone-coated side strip, which is particularly suitable for use in the care of chronic wounds, such as ulcers or eschars, or acute wounds, such as burns. The absorbent dressing includes a breathable impermeable substrate () and an absorbent non-woven fabric (). The substrate is formed by assembling a continuous film () and an openwork reinforcement that is coated with an adhesive silicone gel () without blocking the openings in the reinforcement. The present invention relates to an absorbent dressing comprising a breathable impermeable substrate () and an absorbent foam (), which is particularly suitable for use in the care of chronic or acute wounds. The invention relates to a dressing comprising an absorbent foam () and a protective substrate () that is impermeable to fluids, but permeable to water vapor, said substrate being formed by assembling a film () and an openwork reinforcement that is coated with an adhesive silicone gel () without blocking the openings in the reinforcement. Hydrocellular absorbent dressing, and uses thereof for the treatment of chronic and acute wounds

The present invention relates to a bandage including an adhesive hydrocolloid mass, wherein said bandage includes, on at least one portion of the surface of the adhesive mass intended for being in contract with the wound when the bandage is being used, a plurality of agglomerates made up of particles linked to one another, preferably in a multi-layer configuration, at least 90% and preferably at least 95% of said particles being made up of one (or more) material(s) selected among polysaccharides, proteins and synthetic polymers, and being suitable for solubilizing or gelling in under ten seconds, and preferably still in less than one second when in contact with the exudate from the wound.
