Lanyard having at least one belaying strap connected with a swivel connection which comprises two assembly parts able to rotate with respect to one another with a relative rotational movement. The two assembly parts of tubular shape are engaged coaxially in one another, the first outer part having a larger diameter than that of the second inner part. At least one of the parts is provided with a slot or hole for fitting securing means designed to secure the two parts in rotation in the engaged state. Applications: safety and securing lanyards for via ferrata, caving, mountaineering.

An attachment device for tightening an adjustable resistant strap, comprising a buckle composed of a pair of superposed rings of different dimensions. The buckle is associated with a positioning shim housed around a closed first turn arranged opposite the blocking slot of the strap. The positioning shim is configured to separate the top strand and the bottom strand of said turn from one another. This results in a reduction of the friction effect when relative movement takes place between the two rings. The shim is equipped for this purpose with two guide apertures through which the bottom strand and the top strand of the closed turn attached to the buckle respectively pass.

This lanyard, which is movable by elasticity between a rest position and a stretched position, comprises a tubular sheath made from non-stretchable material, and a set of elastic threads joined to the sheath. According to the invention, the elastic threads define at least one longitudinal weaving zone in which they are woven on one surface of the sheath only, each weaving zone being proper to form a bending zone of the lanyard, in the rest position, in which the elastic threads are folded onto themselves.

A fixing buckle comprising a base provided with a latching hook for attaching a retaining ring, and a locking mechanism able to occupy a locking position and a releasing position to respectively secure and release the retaining ring on and from the latching hook. The locking mechanism comprises two locking elements independent from one another and each having a stop and a control button. The locking elements are formed by two levers pivotally mounted inside the cover, the stop being arranged at one of the ends of each lever and the control button at the other end thereof. Detachment of the ring is enabled on no load and when the buttons of the two levers are actuated simultaneously to the releasing position.

An attachment buckle for fitting and adjusting a strap, composed of a pair of superposed rings of different dimensions and a transverse slot for the strap to pass through. The second ring is articulated on the first ring by means of a connecting spring designed to press the second ring against the first ring and to urge said second ring slidingly to the blocking position.

An attachment shackle has an open ring having threaded first and second end-parts arranged facing one another at the opposite ends. A rotary ferrule of tubular shape is fitted with screwing on the second end-part to close or open the space separating the two end-parts. A lock is arranged at the rear of the first end-part. The lock engages in a notch of the ferrule to perform locking in the closed position. Unlocking is performed by a manual releasing action of the lock allowing movement of the rotary ferrule to the open position.

An attachment device having a pair of main progression lanyards, an auxiliary lanyard, and an energy absorber to absorb shocks in case of a fall. The auxiliary lanyard is attached with the main lanyards to the energy absorber opposite from a fixing device, and is shorter than each of the main lanyards so as to act as additional attachment means placed after the energy absorber.

A self-locking fixing loop with adjustment of an attachment strap comprises a base equipped with a clasp for hooking a retaining ring thereon, and an operating button movable between a closed position and an open position of the loop, respectively to hold and release said retaining ring. A spring locks the operating button in the closed position, and a ring adjusts the length of the strap, said ring being inserted between the button and the base opposite the clasp.

A pulley comprises a pair of flanges, a rotary roller mounted on a first spindle, and a second flange which oscillates on the first spindle. A jammer is incorporated inside the pulley and comprises a pivotable tumbler on a second spindle between an active locking position and an inactive unlocking position of a rope. The second spindle is tubular and extends parallel to the first spindle, and includes an internal orifice disposed to come into alignment with a hole of the second flange when the second flange reaches a position near to a closed position, so as to enable a snap-hook to be attached through an orifice of the tumbler simultaneously resulting in locking of the second flange in the closed position.

A protective helmet with a crown made of synthetic material comprises a fixing device with a strap and means for adjusting the head-band size. The wall of the crown is drilled in the direction of the thickness with a plurality of orifices for housing positioning knobs adjustable between a first adjustment position corresponding to a large head-band size, in which said knobs are inserted inside the orifices, and a second adjustment position corresponding to a small head-band size, in which said knobs are salient towards the inside of the crown, each positioning knob having gripping means accessible from outside the crown to press the internal bearing face of the knob directly against the user's head.

The descender comprises a first flange for support of a pulley and a pad, and an auxiliary braking lever mounted with limited pivoting near the pulley between an inactive unlocking position for a first winding direction of the rope in the passage space, and an active locking position in which a jamming surface of the lever presses the rope against the pulley. Pivoting of the lever to the active position takes place automatically in case of incorrect winding of the rope according to a second direction opposite to the first direction, and in the presence of a tension on the rope when the descender is on load.
