The invention provides tweezers for microsurgery, in particular opthalmological surgery, the tweezers comprising a one-piece working part () of U-shape, with the free ends () of each branch () being shaped into a point, the part being derived from a flat blank of thickness (e) constituting the dimension perpendicular to the plane (P) in which the branches () move, and elements for manipulating the working part together forming a handle for gripping the tweezers, wherein each element is in the form of an elongate body () presenting a convex outside surface () and a substantially plane surface () having a longitudinal groove () hollowed out therein to house one of the branches () of the working part (), the end of each handle element facing towards the points being provided with centering means () co-operating with a complementary centering member of the corresponding end of the other element.

Corneal surgery device

The blade assembly includes a blade and a blade carrier with a resilient tongue integral with the blade carrier. The resilient tongue has a stud located at one end. A device for surgery of the cornea includes an annular base for fixing the apparatus to the eye of a patient. A cutter head includes a body and a blade. The cutter head is displaced along a plane trajectory, parallel to the base. A guide is provided on the base and guides the cutter head relative to the base. A first drive imparts movement to the blade in the cutter head with a reciprocating linear motion parallel to the blade's cutting edge. A second drive imparts movement to the cutter head relative to the base along the trajectory. The first and second drives include independent motor units surmounting the cutter head and having mutually parallel outlet shafts perpendicular to the plane of the trajectory of the cutter head.

Microkeratome for surgery of the cornea, comprising a securing ring (1) which includes, on an upper surface, a slide (8), and a blade carriage (10) equipped in the lower part with guide means (13) for cooperating with the slide (8), the ring including a maneuvering grip, the blade carriage (10) including a front section (12) forming a plateau (16) for flattening the cornea, in which the ring (1) and the carriage (10) include abutments (17, 18) for regulating the end of slide position of the carriage (10) in relation to the ring (1).
