The gas-liquid separator having an introduction duct defining an introduction opening receiving the multiphase fluid stream, and a static first separation stage extending along a longitudinal axis, connected with the introduction duct, the first separation stage including an outer wall, an inner wall and at least an inner baffle inducing an helical movement of the multiphase fluid stream around the longitudinal axis driving a liquid contained in the fluid stream onto the outer wall and a gas contained in the multiphase fluid stream onto the inner wall. The outer wall or/and the inner wall delimit(s) at least a lateral orifice evacuating a respective one of the liquid or the gas separated along the inner baffle, each lateral orifice extending along each inner baffle and defining a lateral staged evacuation of the respective one of the liquid or of the gas in an evacuation canal along the respective inner and outer walls.

Gas-liquid separator, hydrocarbon extractor, and related separation method

The present invention relates to a liquid evacuation device for an extraction well. The device comprises a tank presenting a liquid accumulation area. The tank is connected to a gas evacuation tubing. An insulant limits a flow of fluid between a wall of the tank and a wall of the well, from a first space formed between the insulant and the well bottom to a second space formed between the insulant and the well head. A first opening on the tank enables circulation of a gas-liquid mixture from said first space to a third space formed in the gas evacuation tubing. A second opening on the tank enables circulation of fluid from said second space to the liquid accumulation area. The first opening is made between the liquid accumulation area and the connection to the evacuation tubing.

The present invention concerns a system for extracting the liquids from a well producing liquid and gas. The system comprises a separation wall defining, in the well, a first space and a second space; a liquid-gas separator; and a system for eliminating separated liquid. The first space is suitable for conveying a mixture comprising the gas and liquid from a production area to the separator. The separator is suitable for separating the gas and liquid from the mixture. The second space receives the liquid separated from the mixture. Finally, the elimination system is suitable for eliminating the separated liquid using at least the gravitational potential energy of said separated liquid in the second space.

System and method for extracting gas from a well

A hydrocarbon production facility includes: a hydrocarbon well; a hydrocarbon production line including: in the well, a production tube, and on the surface, an evacuation tube from the production tube; on the surface, a source of pressurized gas; an injection line of pressurized gas in the hydrocarbon production line, linked to the source of pressurized gas; a pump for circulation of hydrocarbon from the well hydrocarbon circulation; a pneumatic motor for supplying power to the pump, fitted on the injection line of the pressurized gas and adapted to be rotated by expansion of the pressurized gas. Hydrocarbon production facility, production method and upgrade method

Some embodiments include a heavy-oil-based hydrocarbons effluent production installation for the production of hydrocarbons from at least one well. The installation includes an effluent-lightening fluid injection system at the bottom of the well, an effluent-evacuation pump, a plurality of sensors that measure physical units relating to the installation, and an automated device suitable for optimizing the lightening-fluid injection flow-rate and for regulating the pump speed. The automated device regulates the pump speed according to the physical units and a predetermined target production value. The speed of the pump and the physical units are within a predetermined range of values. some embodiments include a hydrocarbons production method in such an installation. Some embodiments make it possible to ensure a minimum consumption of lightening fluid, while ensuring good operation of the pump and good productivity of the well.

According to the invention the well receives a second casing (22) forming a second flow way towards the surface for the hydrocarbons originating from the same rock stratum, the facility additionally including a chamber (51) between the casings (20,22) and the well wall (18), which does not contain any hydrocarbons originating from the rock stratum.
